When Tom @ Viper's has the file unlocked, the servers go up. Thanks to all the GC and Non-GC who played here, it has been a blast! If we have the opportunity, we may be able to retain a UT2K4 server for nostalgia purposes if we go the dedicated route, but until (if?) that time comes, UT2K4 is officially over. -Fk

Pub server might go down anytime after thursday. Regardless - when the demo is out, the pub server becomes a 24 player UT3 Demo server. We'll just cycle through the maps and be done with it. Twice tonight I was on and we filled up. Nice. -Fk

Hello campers - Our intertubes are under redevelopment. We'll soon have a mere single skin for the forums and our home page will have so much usefulness you will actually bookmark that instead of the forums. True. However, we need a logo. There are some of you with mad photoshop skillz. We know you are out there. We need something that is *not* just CS:S or UT; it has to "float" between all videogames. The logo should reflect our sports/corner bar, intermural sports team, casual club atmosphere. We would prefer submissions to be over the next week. Just post a jpg/whatever here in the forums. Once we have enough, if they do not suck ( ) we will throw open a voting poll and you can choose your favorites - top three vote getters get a runoff or board vote or something. Here are a few to get you rolling. GCO is still GC, just fills out some of the logos better and is also one better than GC - GC or GCO whatever floats your boat. -Fk

You'll be okay - hell, I ran UT2K4 on low settings forever before I could upgrade to a better video card - granted, was like night and day difference in visuals when I did but the low settings never stopped me from having a blast. given everything we've seen has been at medium res and settings I'm not worried at all. That and I got an 8800gts Oh mamma... Anyone know what that thing hidden in the smoke in the mid-upper left is? I can't imagine the necris levi-equal being a super giant walker... could it? -Fk

I'll be on early, I'll even reinstall UT2K4 and get on Vent and stop doing that other thing I'm doing (secrets!) We'll give it a good workout, perhaps I can drag out ye'old crazy links for the Crossfire map and AS... 90 to 99 is fine. I scored primo deal due to rebates and coupon so unless you have time for the deal gods to awaken I'd buy now. I *love* this case. Naturally it has an enemy called "liquid" - it is so wide open you'll have to be careful, but aside from that... Put another way, I can't imagine I was actually considering other cases. I need to finish that build thread (pics, etc.) - I'll get on that by the end of the week... -Fk
