I was banned perminately today for talking too much. I was dead, we were winning, I was keeping it clean and just enjoying my time. I was banned by someone who was grumpy and didn't enjoy my talking. No warning, just plain out banned. There were several people in there having a good time with me, so i dont know why i was singled out. anyways i used to play here often and i love this server, and i'm back in the midwest now so i would like to continue playing here. well after enough of lunk's witching about me and G1_joe playing on the same team every map i will eliminate the problem by no longer playing here. we always play together, and we are always the first people in during a new map (due to our fast computers and close location). so we join the team. it may start off that there are 5 CT's and 2 T's, but within SECONDS its evened out. but lunk always manages to throw a hissy fit. so i will eliminate the problem, you will never see me and JOE together at the same time, because you won't ever see me in your server again. lunk is lame.

As much as i have played lately i have seen a few team stacks going on, and i have been on the winning and losing sides of both. sometimes i get angry, throw my headphones, break something, and quit....but 5 minutes later i calm down and return. the best thing about this server is the first to 10 rule. if it is stacked so badly things will be better in 10 rounds (which i have seen take like 10 minutes). sure you may be 1 and 10 and want to throw a rock through your monitor, but it will all work out shorly. sometimes i get so frustrated when i join the server late and everyone has money and an AWP, while i'm holding a glock in my hand. you just have to stick it out for a few rounds and a new map...and all will work out. so here is the solution. when teams are stacked you should get mad, almost break things, take a deep breath, and wait until a new map comes around. then YOU can be on the winning side of a some serious domination.

what are the chances of me being able to host a game for me and 3 buddies, with like 6 bots, on the same machine i am playing the game with? EDIT: 3.4p4 with a gig of ram

http://www.terraim.com/ awesome little stand alone .exe AIM. fits on a floppy disk if you need it to. the default skin is ugly, but you can get a new one to make it look exactly like AIM. it has tabs and logging, which is about all i need.

okay so apparently i'm no smart computer person...but i wanted to run a test server on my current rig and i can't even get it up and running. i followed a few guides (for old CS) and didn't get anywhere. if anyone here wants to n00b explain how to setup a server i would be a happy man. i tried "create server" in the game, and no luck at all even when trying to LAN with my roomate (and all the ports forwarded what i thought was properly). i then downloaded the dedicated server and fiddled around with that for awhile, also no luck (yes i was sending him my external IP number). my router is a linksys wrt54g (i'm directly connected not wireless), using some hacked firmware "Alchemy-6.0-RC1.w42 V2.04.4.8sv" i just want to run it for 3 of my buddies, my roomate, and some stupid bots.

alright sounds good thanks for teh answers. i could probably scrounge something together that wouldnt be half bad. but your right about this being at home and not having enough bandwidth....so probably around 10 max if i start doing this.

i have a computer graveyard in my basement, and i'm thinking about putting together a CS:S server. none of the stuff is top of the line, but a lot of it is decent. the question is, what are the minimum specs i need to run a 20 person max server? any clues. ps - i swear i will stop asking annoying questions after today.

haha...i love when something is right in front of your face yet you never see it. thanks dude. too bad my $400 video card hates running at high texture quality, so i'm stuck sacrificing my nice quality spray for actual nice playability.

i have been tweaking my settings and such, and i cant figure out what i did to make my sprays look so terrible. what setting do i need to change to make then higher quality? i used to have them looking so nice, now they look so hideous!

i bought a mobile barton 2500+ for my parents PC. put it in, cranked it up to 2300mhz easy. i havent even tried going any further. they are great chips i would highly recommend them for mid-line PCs.

if this is true can you let me know exactly what i need to do to fix this....besides a format!

yep...i deleted them both about 2 seconds after i used them. i really don't feel like spending another $50 bucks....plus cheating is pretty stupid and no spyware suprizingly...i was checking for that the second i installed them.

gethacks @ ****.com some dude by that name has been around pimping this site and speedhacking like crazy. if you see him ban him. i hate him so. i have spec'ed him running around at 100 mph and knifing everyone. its amazing that it hasnt been patched yet. in fact how would i go about reporting this site? getting it removed would be a good idea. EDIT: i just went there and installed one, and ran around at 100 mph. it was really fun....wait no. its like me having a corvette and racing you riding your bicycle. i can only beat you in a race so many times before i start realizing how stupid i am for racing you in the first place. i played in an empty room for fear of getting banned.
