hi guys...i registered for forums just to post this topic. I was banned from your css west pub on 3/16/06 at 10:45 am. I play in your pub regularly and for no apparent reason i got banned for having a good score. We all have our good runs with frags and i was in for 15 minutes before some immature admin decided to ban me. I dont think it's fair cuz i dont hack watsoever. I dont know who banned me or for what reason. Who ever banned me, plz talk to me on aol or irc. I dont care but i just dont think it's fair. I just got a brand new computer 4 days ago from upgrading from a dell. I dont pub much but wen i do, its at gamerscoalition. I would appreciate it if you would unban me cuz im really disapointed. Hey, ended up getting banned today from the stock westcoast server. Think the admin at the time went a bit overzealous. Most folks have played with me, Killamenjaro, and know that 'oh holy hell' is a regular occurance from me when something amazing happens and I know karma is about to kick me in the face. Can someone please justify how come a squeaky clean 31 year old man could be banned? I believe I've played on this server (#3) long enough for enough admins to know I don't cuss, I don't spray porn, I sure as heck don't cheat and I'm pretty fun to play with. happened at about 1:00 am on the #3 server the names too funky for me to know anymore than that. Only admin on, that I'm aware of was Witt. I'd like to post details but I really don't have anything to write since I'm clueless as to what transpired to cause this. Only thing I can assume, and note I'm assuming, is that I killed Witt and he believes it was an aimbot. I really have no idea as to what I did to offend an admin. So how come I'm banned? During my daily play on the Scopeless server Midwest, I got 'banned and kicked' by the admin. So sad. I wasn't doing anything wrong. In fact, I was complimenting everyone and doing my usual Teamwork skills. I don't know who the admin was at the time (9:25PM CTS 3/7/06). I think it may have been an accidental ban? i dunno. I was playing with you guys for about an hour today (Wed, 3/8/06, 2-3pm PST) and I was not insulting anyone, being rude, or anything malicious. I ventured to ask "what rate is everyone using, because I am getting lots of shiet." I was told by Avengence that it was a filter-bypass ban from Lazerus and what I need to do to request being unbanned. It was both a "reflex" word and bad judgement (as i have used other words like dung, etc) but it was unintentional and a mistake. I regret and apologize in hope for consideration to be unbanned. I will make a conscious effort to catch further descriptive words and replace them with something more appropriate. Thanks for your time, regardless of decision. He Tked another player (I don't know if it was on purpose or accident, he claims accident) and he got me banned. I always tell him not to play on my favorite servers but he still does from time to time. This event happened on Saturday, March 4th, 2006 around 9:45pm. Well i was playing in gc | FF | Stock | Midwest > Recrudescence 100tic And i got kicked the first time for saying to my team "Please stop buying autosnipers they are unbeleivbly lame." Than i reconnected and asked why i got kicked....The admin, im pretty sure it was *|CsLs|* U.S.M.C. | PopeIII .GC and he just said that he had enough with me and talon. Than we played another round and i got killed by an auto shottie and i said "autogayed" because i beleive that it was. And i get kicked and banned. I was not imformed that lame was a swear word? And i was also not given any warning that it was. Ive pub in that server for a while, and im pretty sure ive said lame, im sure norgman/talon have said it, im sure alot of other people have said it, and have faced no consequences/warnings. Just wondering if anything could be done about this....

Earlier today, I ("Borat!" STEAM_0:0:993323) was playing on Scoutzknives with i believe 6 other people. I'm not familiar with Scoutsknives, so i don't remember the map. I'm almost positive that Anonymo was the admin at the time. While I was playing, i was getting quite a kick out of it, because I was doing horribly . Then, someone came in, and apparently said "wth" at something (I don't know what). I didn't see them say it, but when I first noticed it, it was because he said "wth is a bad word?". I didn't see the admin say anything, so i said something along the lines of "Of course it's a bad word...it's 'what the ----'...'----' is a bad word, isn't it?". Now, when i put those dashes in, it was because that's actually what I put in there. To my knowledge, I never actually "swore". I realize that the context I was using it in was pretty obvious as to what I meant. I'm sorry for suggesting the word. Also, I shouldn't have butted in, but I didn't see the admin say anything. As you can see, I have only made this 1 post, because i've never needed to come on here because of my actions. I bought CS:Source about a two months ago, and =EH?= the Ninja directed me to the GC servers, and I have been playing them ever since. Okay. First things first I suppose. I'll apologize for my post and I'm not perfect so if I slip out an occasional "BS" warn me, if i do it again kick me. I try to not cut up on the servers and typically try to help inform people of the no swearing so forth rule. I don't think I've actually been banned yet..but I'll post up my steam ID later I haven't been on CS all night (to much school). Granted, there may have been some things that i felt were extremely...wrong..done to me (ie kicking three times in a row) but still I shouldn't have posted what I did on the forums so this is my formally apology to all. I do ask though if any admin for one reason or another seems to have some pressing issue with me that is causing dislike towards me to bring it up with me personally ON HERE instead of making my gaming experience more frustrating by being kicked. One more note. Warn first. A small example is I had a picture of a shocker as a spray, I asked an admin is this okay, he said yea its fine. 15 minutse later another admin comes in and kickes me without warning for it. Okay, if I get kicked because something slips out fine, I deserve it...for example..I said "BS" and I got kicked. I was like BLAH cause I wasn't even thinking. But I joined again and got kicked again for saying *sigh* lame. Okay, first off that was directed at an admin but I got kicked again? So I rejoin and I got kicked for a THIRD time. But this reason was the greatest. And I'm calling someone out on this. BREW kept saying KICK HIM AGAIN because he thought it was funny. Get a life you lamer. So then, yesterday. I said, whoever threw that grenade can shove it up their rear! Okay now call me crazy but if rear is a bad word than we're all goin to hell with the Pope we have on our server. I asked, since rear was a bad word, does that mean BUTT is to. Someone then said the admin was upset cause I slept with his daughter or something or sister and I said nah it was his wife or gf. And I got kicked. Oh man. Some people these days. I'll bet you an even million that the person who said I slept w/someone didn't get kicked. Do you get some sense of power because in real life your about as important as a worm? Get off my case and stop kicking me you guys are becoming a bunch of lame hipocrits. k, now that i've cooled down a little, i'll start over. here are the reasons i humbly think i should be unbanned: 1. i am a regular here, and i am friends with everyone. 2. my outburst was, yes, maybe a little over the edge...but it wasn't in the filter block list and i have used it before 3. i really didn't have a warning, if i had been told what i was doing wrong first, there would have been no further discussion 4. I LOVE GC! i want to continue my gaming here, and would really hate to go elsewhere. even if you do decide not to lift this ban, i will continue to be in the forums, because GC is kinda like an extended/online family to me and others in grapple. so yeah, there's my humble plea, for unbanning. hope you will consider me. So a few days ago I am watching The Big Lebowski while playing CSS and I get to the part where they are talking about bunny's motives to kidnap herslelf and they say: The Dude: It's like what Lenin said... you look for the person who will benefit, and, uh, uh... Donny: I am the walrus. The Dude: You know what I'm trying to say... And I have of course seen the movie before, but for some reason it strikes me as extremely funny. So I change my name in CSS and begin saying "I am the Walrus" every once in a while when chat is slow, and probably sometimes when it isn't. *Fast forward a coulple of days* I get on, my name is still Walrus, and I say "Alaba Don Burro." Which in spanish might mean "praise the donkey." Something left from high school that makes little to no sense but is somewhat humorous(atleast in my book). Immediately after this I decide I should bind it to a key. After examining my keyboard I decide the 'B' key is the most convenient unused key for such an action. Bind and test it. At this point the admin on asks who I am(since I am not under my normal name but still carry the GC tag), I reply something to the effect of "If I were a program I would actually be able to aim." Probably should have told the admin who I was, but I didn't fill out any papers saying I was smart when I applied to GC. Round ends and I go to buy. Press buy button and the menu doesn't pop up. Press it again, and again, and again. I begin to pound it the rhythm of Bro Hymm (Pennywise) in frustration. Then I realize I bound "Alaba Don Burro" to my 'B' key, and i just spammed the server big. Oh noes!!!. About to type and explain what happened when the little gray box pops up and says "you have been banned/kicked blah blah blah." So now I sit doing my CSE lab because I am banned . If someone could reconsider and lift this ban I would appreciate it. The admin was obviously right on banning me, I broke, you know, somewhere between 1 and 5 rules, so I am not angry or anything. Just hoping someone could clear this up for me. I promise to answer any admins questions in a straight forward manner and without delay. Ok, I know that this is supposed to be all business, but as someone who plays on the GC Counter-Strike servers often, I would like to put something extra into this. The least important part of this post is that I was banned today for acting like an insolent little child. I apologize for that. John was chastising another user and I called him out on it. It was during cs_italy I believe. I had also been kicked previously for using the term "rape" in referring to a very one-sided round. What I want to say is that I was all ready to come in here and whine and moan about john, the one who banned me, for being a nazi and a power-tripper. Then I read some of the other posts on here, and saw how sad and immature these people sounded for trying to blame their expulsion on someone else. That was almost me. However, I clicked on the banner for the "Guide to Being Unbanned" at the top of the screen, and after reading that I understand that now what you guys are trying to do. I get it, and I think its great. I take full responsibility for what happened, and I promise that I understand its not ok to mouth off to admins, especially when they are enforcing the rules of the server. before i go on, i just want to say that i am vey thankful for the GC admins; they normally make very good decisions on what to tolerate. ok i was playing on aztec today, #3 west, and i am guessing stuttering.john was the admin, cause he was the only admin in there. there were 2 guys who had ONLY been kicked before for swearing in MUCH more obvious ways. they both come backi in and start spamming the mic for over a minute with nonsense static, and the occasional swearword coming out. now, where i live, whore is a word used for someone who does something too much or annoying. awp whore, autosniperwhore...etc. so i said, kick those whores. so, obviously, j0hn chooses ME to ban instead of them. no warning, and i checked the server info, and THEY WERE STILL IN. were they kicked? no. so i guess what i am asking for is a unban request, and a little leniency on the kick/ban stick.

OK So the other day I was on Ebullition with a few other people. Someone came on with a name that was no good, and Pope told him to change it. He proceeded to change to something that was as bad if not worse (can't remember either of the names now); I proceeded to type "say lol" because I knew this guy was about to be banned. Then I got banned (kicked and banned). I was going to post up on that day, but I was able to connect again when Anonymo was setting up VIP so I thought maybe Pope had unbanned me already, but now it says I'm banned again. My ID is 0:1:7130199. I'm assuming from the course of events that Pope banned me accidentally, but if I did something else I will certainly accept full responsibility for it. I just connected to Mayhem with no problem, so I'm assuming this ban is only on Ebullition.

Just got banned from one of ur servers, the westcoast one whichever that is, by some guy named panic. Typed out a chat message with a swear word in it and saw that it was censored and made a joke that went like "lol no swearing, i forgot this game is church", and then heard an angry sounding voice over ingame saying something to me that I couldn't quite make out, I told him that in chat that it sounded like there was a sock in his mouth and that I couldn't understand him, then got a message saying something like "when you get banned go to gamerscoalition and tell em panci sent ya". I really dont see why I was banned, and honestly I don't really care if I get unbanned, just like to bring it to someones attention that you have an admin that is severely intolerant; I mean, he has a prepared message he sends when he bans someone, bragging almost in my opinion(keeping a tally?). Maybe a bad day in the game? I hope not since it IS a game and when it sways your mood to angry, you need to open up console, type 'quit', hit enter and go do something else.
