Went and saw Dave Matthews Band (not Dave and Tim like the last one) on July 3rd with Katie at Tweeter Center in Tinley Park (southwest of Chicago). Great show, good time, she got pulled over for speeding (15 over) and got a warning for being a hottie. Tonight People Magazine rep is taking me to dinner and Norah Jones concert at Ravinia. Hopefully it'll be a good one.

I am going to leave this thread to all the rockers out there. I notice Wilco having an obscene amount of cd's and I must say I love the collection. Metallica has been a band that (if you don't mind me saying) revolutionized rock music today. Almost all of today's bands I know of have all been influenced in some way by Metallica. In fact, MTVIcon is finally making an episode featuring Metallica just like they did Aerosmith and Janet Jackson. Theres a contest on MTV.com about showing you being the biggest Metallica fan and they'll send you out there. Now with every good side comes a bad. Many people felt the rage as did me when Metallica landed their lawsuit on the ever so famous company "Napster", which we all know has been shut down for over 2 yrs now. Many fans became outraged and boycotted Metallica cause of this. I am curious as to peoples views towards this as I am sure many of you have a view either way. Post up your views and plz don't flame one for not having the same view as yourself. Thx and I look foward to reading your responses.

GO SEE THIS MOVIE. Better Luck Tomorrow. It won the Sundance Film Festival, thus throwing into the big time. It was made by a bunch of Californian college students. I would have to say this is one the best movies I have seen in a very long time. It is the most original and outstanding movies I have seen. It doesn't rely on huge million dollar special effects to save it, nor does it rely on huge marketing to make it a success. This is an honest, straight shooting movie. Go see it. I hate paying $6 a ticket to see a movie, but I would pay to see this one again.

I don't know if there are a lot of Eminem fans in here but post up if you are. I know I am a fan but not a hardcore one. I love his music and think he is very unique with his lyrics. No one ever thought a white man could do it in the rap world but he did and has blown up to be one of the biggest acts of today. He has had sucessful albums and headlined his own tours. Lets hear some opinions on one of the most controversial rappers of our time.
