Crowbar April 24, 2004 Share Crowbar Member April 24, 2004 I just got done playing through the Single Player Demo #2 for Painkiller. Wow. Quite an adrenaline rush! The basic premise: you're a hitman for heaven. Job: kill all the baddies. Demo #2 gives you the rocket launcher/mini-gun, the stake gun and a sort of razorblade pinwheel for close range combat. The stake gun is the best, shoot a wooden stake into the bad guys and they'll attack to whatever's behind them. At one point I tacked one bad guy onto a larger bad guy. The game uses the Havok engine, which is the same one Max Payne 2 used. It's fun watching the bodies flop around like rag dolls.
