This guy is porting the uxtheme.dll over to 64 bit, i believe he has it working on his site..

That's in essance all that style xp modifys. You should be able to replace your uxtheme.dll with his patched one to apply .msstyles.

 

EDIT** On a side note I don't have an AMD so this is just what i've read

 

Forum users have posted that the uxtheme.dll for Server 2003 x64 edition works fine for xp 64 bit. Download that one and unrar it. Then, just rename the uxtheme.dll file in c:\windows\system32\dllcache and in c:\windows\system32\ to something like uxtheme.orig. Then stop the themes service, copy in the patched uxtheme.dll to c:\windows\system32 and start the themes service again. That's it.
