Fatty December 30, 2002 Share Fatty GC Founder December 30, 2002 So I just installed XP but it doesn't like (hates) my version of DirectCD. I followed directions to update it, but to no avail. Are there any other products that will allow me to talk to my Sony Mavica CD300? The computer recognized it via USB, and it shows up ok, I just am unable to read from it (thus the job of DirectCD). Fatty December 30, 2002 Author Share Fatty GC Founder December 30, 2002 It installed my camera just fine....it shows up, etc. Also, what does that PTP mean? Is that a different version of XP?
Guest ZDamage December 30, 2002 Share Guest ZDamage Guests December 30, 2002 I glad that reply fatty wasn't holding my soul for safe keeping. lol I guess I got it all wrong. SO it is a camera that you use to use and it is now not working? I think you may need to try that driver update that Homer posted. I had an old JVC digital cam that the jerks didn't create a new driver for when win2k/winxp came out so I was stuck with a camera i could not use. So i sold it on e-bay.
