Rashad July 4, 2005 Share Rashad Member July 4, 2005 An amazing program, allows the user to zoom into any address from outer space. The program also allows the user to view any major city in 3D, as well as locating ATMs, Banks, Bars, Golf Courses, Movies Rentals, Fire Stations, Hospitals, Stadiums, City and Postal Code Boundaries. The best part about Google Earth is it's free. Get Google Earth
Brillow_Head July 4, 2005 Share Brillow_Head Member July 4, 2005 Very fun, found my house and my Dad's house. Its sad to see that Reno, NV is pictured in much greater detail than Brookings, SD. Lol, I can see my dad's truck in his driveway but my aparmtent building is little more than a smudge.
Nimon July 4, 2005 Share Nimon Member July 4, 2005 (edited) Cool. Thanks for the pointer. This would have made shopping for property easier. I had to use the then-new terraserver. (It clunked a bit and didn't have all of northern MN.) No surprise, the resolution for the areas I'm interested in is poor, but I was surprised at some of the areas they do have in detail--Orr, MN, population 249.
