What was going on in April of 2003?

I was just perusing through some board stats, and took a look at the monthly post statistics.

 

I wonder what was going on in April of 2003 that made the boards hot enough to hold the record for posts for over 2 years now. Anyone remember, or wanna research it?

 

Was that the middle of an MCC season or something? If so, those topics are archived somewhere....so you may not find those.

 

Just wondering, it's interesting.

 

 

I do notice that the trend to drop in June was reversed this year, as opposed to the previous two years.

is it possible that that was one of those months where some long time reg was banned for cheating or something? I know those always created lots and lots of posts.
