appalachian_fox September 8, 2005 Share appalachian_fox Member September 8, 2005 Prices in Georgia are back, and if you look around you can find them back to normal, but on average they are $.10 high. The governor suspended State taxes on gas, though, and it's about to go through the State legislature to make it more permanent...So prices should fall back into line, because they say it's an estimated $.15 per gallon in taxes ($.07 per gallon plus 4% iirc). Of course, now I have to ask what those taxes paid for, since State spending on schools has already suffered greatly and nobody else's budget has been doing well... appalachian_fox September 8, 2005 Share appalachian_fox Member September 8, 2005 If you got a stack of that to spare...I don't care if it's a $100 bill covering a bunch of $1s...Heck, I don't even care if it's fake
TheReverend(c) September 10, 2005 Share TheReverend(c) Member September 10, 2005 Gas got back down to $2.89 a gallon here. A few months ago we thought that was insane?
Brillow_Head September 10, 2005 Share Brillow_Head Member September 10, 2005 (edited) Gone are the days where it will cost 12 bucks to fill up a 12 gallon tank. Edited September 10, 2005 by Brillow_Head
