appalachian_fox September 21, 2005 Share appalachian_fox Member September 21, 2005 All, I was forwarded a website built from Hurricane Katrina data. One of the options is to get what I believe they call high-detail imagery, which is a coverage of high-resolution satellite imagery over affected areas. You can zoom in to New Orleans and see the extents of the flooding. FYI, if you are on a large-bandwidth connection I would recommend looking for the Large Viewer button to get more real estate. http://arcweb.esri.com/sc/hurricane_viewer/index.html

anonymo September 22, 2005 Share anonymo Member September 22, 2005 Wow those are amazing... just as an aside, me pops works for Global Pumps which has scrambled to help out with the relief in the Gulf (they just opened a whole division in Alabama)...anyways...if you see the red pumps out there...they have probably passed under my father's watchful eyes (he designs them btw)
