Has much better distance than my Linksys did and D-Link sucks. I'm a big fan of netgear now. This is my second one. The first one I bought wasa wireless B Router and it was great too. I gave it to my sister when I got this one and she has no problems with the old one. However, I went out and bought the Netgear wireless router when my laptop arrived and had to return it. It made the internet run slow (56k speed) on all of the computers, even the computers that have a wired connection. I exchanged it for a D-Link and now have no problems.
