pvt.snowball October 11, 2005 Author Share pvt.snowball Member October 11, 2005 heh, yea a lot of money too. the kicker is im over 6'6" so its a tight squeeze (better than most sports cars though, i cant even drive an s2000). its not bad at all until i put a helmet on, then i have no headroom...dont worry tho, seat mod comin up! TURBO OR ALL MOTOR ITS SUCH A TOUGH DECISION!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> turbo = obviously the gains you get are sweet but the longevity with forced induction kinda sucks unless you have a HUGE bank roll. just my oppinion! Sgt. Spuds October 24, 2005 Share Sgt. Spuds Member October 24, 2005 Im a fan of turbo's. Superchargers are nice, but the rob power slightly from running them off the crank, turbo's, well large ones, have spool time, but in a auto, just get a higher stall, and in a stick, just keep it spooled up, smaller turbos spool very fast so its not a big deal. I would however, never run a under the hood turbo... STS makes a great remote mounted turbo, mounts were the muffler mounts of f-bodies, only bad thing about it is if you want to intercool it ( witch isnt necc on the remote mounts, since they run very cool anyways ) you have a lot of pipeing to deal with.
