Playaa November 14, 2005 Share Playaa Member November 14, 2005 so I just found this group through a friend of mine. I can't even find if they actually have a cd and I can't get their 2 songs on myspace to download they are still VERY worth checking out http://www.myspace.com/girlsindiners the best way I could describe them is a emo-rock-electronica group. stutters November 14, 2005 Share stutters GC Alumni November 14, 2005 we'll have to figure out who we can tackle to get this moved to the studio54 forum. i came into this thread thinking "who would make a movie about girls in diners?" i tried to listen to the songs with firefox, which didn't work out so well. finally got IE to work, and worth the trouble. if you like that, check out bloc party, the arcade fire, and maybe the libertines. anyways, two stutters up. nice find my turn (and complete 180 from your recommendation): the avery set. it's in that indie crevice between alt - folk - bluegrass - jam band. not usually my taste, but i'm still waiting to hear back from them about how i can buy a cd. besides, i'm always a sucker for supporting homegrown michigan music

dragonfly December 18, 2006 Share dragonfly Member December 18, 2006 (edited) Want to see guitarists that actually have skill? and this one in this second one, the solos are sick - better than in the first. The chinese guy is self taught, and the other guy is classically trained from New Zealand. Edited December 18, 2006 by DarkArchon
