VooDooPC December 16, 2005 Share VooDooPC Member December 16, 2005 http://www.voodoo-pc.net/files/blockattackadvanced.mov Is the quality bad? Did it play right? Tonight I am going to render a larger version and post it tomorrow.
mookie December 16, 2005 Share mookie GC Alumni December 16, 2005 Worked fine for me, playing with VLC. Quality looked pretty good, a bit grainy probably due to the compression.
Terribleone December 16, 2005 Share Terribleone Member December 16, 2005 worked fine for me using quicktime
Saris December 16, 2005 Share Saris Member December 16, 2005 I don't get it. Did you make this? If so, that's pretty cool.
VooDooPC December 16, 2005 Author Share VooDooPC Member December 16, 2005 I made it, but that's not really the point of my post. It might be grainy because of the low AA I used. When I do it tonight I will raise the compression quality by a notch, raise the res a little and raise the AA. Before I started I thought this movie was going to be around 15 megs and it turned out to be less than 2.
Mr.Cool December 17, 2005 Share Mr.Cool Member December 17, 2005 tats pretty darn cool! i like how the square just breaks! did u hav to simulate it or sumtin? or did u build it in real life and see what happens and then create it?
VooDooPC December 17, 2005 Author Share VooDooPC Member December 17, 2005 (edited) I simulated it using Havok. Heres a larger render of one of the frames from the movie: Edit: Forgot to mention. This frame alone took over 20 minutes to render. If I rendered the full movie at this quality it would take over 3 and a half days. I wish I had a fast computer.
