well, need another opinion

picking up an mp3 player as well.

looking for a 1 gig player, i would like a bulit in mic to record my professors lecturing.

i want to be able to review for exams and such. i dont care about an FM tuner.

That looks pretty good for the cost. It would cost much more for the ipod shuffle and the add-on to allow recording.

yeh. someone gave me the 512 ipod shuffle, and i returned it. more interested in another brand than ipod.

 

i was looking at the iriver as well, dont know much about them comparitively as far as how good the iriver is.
