Custom Weapon Models

Hi, Chesh here. Um, i have a high-end PC, and i wanted to use some hi-def weapon models for CS:S, but, the coolness of your servers has driven me to ask first. I use 72.37.147.22 98% of the time I CS, and i just wanted to add a little sharp touch to the allready flashy guns, i allready have a hi-def display for my "buy" menu and everything seems to be ok.

 

I wanted to know if they are allowed. These models DO NOT alter the aiming ability, nor do they have laser sights. Just some slightly sharper images wrapped around slightly smoother weapons, thats all.

 

If not, thats just fine, you will still see me online...

Yeah, there are plenty of people w/ custom models.

 

What do you mean by hi-def?

Probably ones that are like, 8,000 polys instead of CSS' 2,000 polys.

 

This one is a rediculiously high 20,000. Not sure if it's released yet.

If you goto their forums, search Source Released for TheLama.
