Preacher October 2, 2006 Share Preacher Member October 2, 2006 www.ati.com get the driver, uninstall old driver via the control panel add/remove dealio. Then reinstall the new driver after restarting. If you have any problems try driver cleaner in safe mode then reinstall. Other than that make sure you are up to date with your windows versions and other drivers like sound card, motherboard ect.

Preacher October 3, 2006 Share Preacher Member October 3, 2006 This is the link to the proper driver if you are running windows 2000 or XP or newer. Just download the driver. Then follow my next set of instructions: https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2...m_enu_35774.exe After the download completes go to start/settings/control panel/Add or Remove Programs and uninstall all ATI selections including catylyst stuff and display drivers or uninstall utilities. Then restart the PC and install the program you just downloaded. After you reboot again the proper driver is good to go. Next thing you should do is go to http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/ using internet explorer and fully update your windows OS. Make sure to install all optional and driver updates as well, using the microsoft update site.
Cujo October 3, 2006 Share Cujo Member October 3, 2006 Make sure to install all optional and driver updates as well, using the microsoft update site. he probably just needs to do the ati part. dr, if you do the win update portion make sure you uncheck any ati drivers for windows site as they're probably older than the ones you just installed.
