A hotel works great if you have 80+ people coming. Given only 41 even voted for a weekend I don't think that's happening. What was wrong with Black Wolf? Other than not being at a hotel it was perfect. Close to various restaurants and booze stores. Even when the AC didn't work two years ago it was a great weekend (wth IS DOWNLOADING!!).

That was me My comp died because I removed hard drives and it caused a bsod. I will not be removing hard drives this year.... i'll also be sure to wear body armor I'm sure it wasn't only you. I'm pretty sure it happened when your comp was fully off. Anyway, it was just some light hearted - half serious humour.

I'm just going to say this ahead of time but whoever the F is downloading you'd better avoid attending this year if you want to live...

i'm a bit late on this but i've got 2 x u2410. awesome monitors. you'll be very happy. btw, i got a sweet deal on them. paid $480 cdn each about 6 months ago. the plan is to add a 3rd one for eyefinity someday.

that's a terrible warranty. my 8800gtx evgas came with a lifetime warranty... a $120 card will outperform your current card and bring you up to date technology wise. don't waste too much energy on this.

yes you can run two. i'm currently running 2 x 24" monitors both at 1920x1200 with a single 8800gtx. current cards will run their max resolution on every output.

get the 4550. MUCH better and fanless to boot.

sad day as a canadian and cs player. really feel like i've lost one of my own. wish i'd made it to that 06 ff and met him just once. hmm, that funeral is only about 25 minutes drive from my place. that really hits home.

the new 5xxx series ati cards support up to 3 or 6 monitors on one card depending on connection ports included. do a quick browse of hardocp forum for eyefinity setups. pretty sick. you can basically span your games across multiple monitors and run crazy high resolution.

i sold them because i could. needed the money and i'm not really using their potential. also, max monitors is 2 crossfire same as sli.

as i posted in the bragging thread, i've updated my monitor setup. busy desktop with most things open empty desktop

just thought i'd post an update. i've downgraded my gfx cards from 2 x 4870 to 2 x 8800gtx. i've upgraded my monitors though. i now have 2 x dell u2410. i did this cause i mainly play css and i wanted the additional desk space for work. i still get over 100fps everywhere in source. and in dirt 2 i'm averaging 40fps with everything maxxed at 1920. 8800gtx in sli still has some nice power. definitely performance decrease in gta4 but i don't play it much anymore. some day i plan on getting a 3rd u2410 and then a new ati card to use eyefinity.

i dont know why, nothing happens when i restart with the disk... lol i'm not even surprised at this point do you have your boot options set correctly in the bios? maybe not, i've never messed with the bios before tho/ would selecting the return to default option possibly fix that? possibly. default settings should have cd/dvd rom booting before hard drive...

put the disk in, restart the computer and it'll boot from the dvd.
