Steam and I

Steam, that beloved program that allows us to play HL2 and its mods, annoys me.

 

Talk about your dead horse, I know.

 

What I am wondering about though, is something I haven't heard much about. When I fire up CS:S and refresh my servers I can view each server's details if I do it right away. If I wait too long there is a period where I have to wait a long time to see any individual server's details.

 

The same thing applies to joining a server too.

 

I love CS so much that I have learned to deal with it hoping, with every Steam update, it will be fixed.

 

Is this the same for everyone ?

I have not had this problem... at least not that I remember.

just one of those individual gifts that steam hands out every once in a while bud... you just have to deal with it.

 

my steam crashes if i have certain programs up, and i have to restart my computer...

we all <3 to hate steam but wut would i do without steam actually talk to peeps in rl. lawl yah right.

yeah... I went to steampowered.com and tried to get help. Whatta crock! Their support database bites it. It tells you that after you do a search you can use the, "Ask a question" tab. That tab never appears however.

I guess you can't expect a lot from a free program but, if Valve is going to require it they could at least push Steam to do a better job of supplying customer service.
