They start adding the x-ram on the Fatal1ty model and Elite Pro model, not the Platinum. Platinum is the model where you get wicked quality and wicked price for that quality.

 

If you at all possibly can, spend the little bit extra and go for the Platinum over the audigy! I had an audigy before, the difference is like comparing bose speakers to your run-of-the-mill sonys. It's a big difference!
