Allanon February 15, 2007 Author Share Allanon Member February 15, 2007 He has a wide range of works if you're not interested in say, aliens who came to earth and caused Hitler, Stalin, Roosevelt, and Hirohito to ally against a superior enemy. Even if you're not one for fantasy, his darkness series is quite good, in which a fantasy world akin to Europe in the late 1930's goes to war. Instead of tanks they have behemoths (think woolly mammoths the size of a three story building), dragons instead of planes, leviathans (think tame and great big killer whales) as subs, boats and trolleys that run on ley-lines instead of mechanical vehicles and sticks which shoot beams of fire instead of rifles.
