Flitterkill August 23, 2007 Share Flitterkill GC Board Member August 23, 2007 http://gearsforums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=576079 There it is, the game-type essentially laid out. You start out with your base *and* primary node already good to go. Read the post and followups for the low down --------------------------------------------------------- http://ih.gamerscoalition.com/ut/TorlanII.AVI At the German Games Convention where all this new stuff is coming from, Midway has prohibited pictures (except of the exterior of the booths, not the nougat-filled interior) and also prohibited cam stuff. At least until someone snuck a cell phone vid. Torlan II in play. Hoverboards go remarkably fast all things considered. I bet we can still ride on the spines of the manta - nice touch with the flaps at the rear of each paddle. That water looks amazing (esp when the manta gets capped) Maps are big! It may not be our UT2K4 and Onslaught but it does look like a hell of a lot of fun -Fk
Wentz August 23, 2007 Share Wentz Member August 23, 2007 Unlinked node in the center is a good idea, this configuration will minimize bottlenecking a bit and give a weak team a fighting chance.. what I want to know is where is PLCS 1?
Flitterkill August 23, 2007 Author Share Flitterkill GC Board Member August 23, 2007 Torlan II, Necris side. With the orb spawning at base, there is at least a better chance than now of retaking your prime once down (with teh instant capture and all that) Center node is totally free, methinks I read another orb spawn point for those in control. Each side has it's own vehicle types but I'm pretty sure you can still jack someones rides regardless of side - which is good. -Fk

Tek-Almighty August 24, 2007 Share Tek-Almighty Member August 24, 2007 (edited) Nicely done boys...thanks for vids. Too bad we lost all those previous posts. Those maps are huge (echo FK). Graphics are amazing. Can't waits for demo... Wish it happened 2 months ago (besides my bandwidth issues) b/c my free time just dropped to nil now that school is up. Yeah, and the german techno was annoying...i was hoping to hear vehic sounds, and sounds of weapons lockers, nodes, etc... doh. must have had headphones on... *edit...I lost almost 100 posts on my counter, I'm a private again! ohnoes!
