Laz.e.rus April 21, 2008 Share Laz.e.rus Member April 21, 2008 I am still running my sli-dr mob from DFI. I have my vid card in the top pciX slot. Unfortunately at the end of this slot are my raid plugins. There arent any at the end of the 2nd slot. I could fit a much longer card there ( than my current 7900gt). I seem to recall something about some sort of issue in using the 2nd slot solo tho. Does anyone remember any thing about this? Cujo April 21, 2008 Share Cujo Member April 21, 2008 had the same mobo and never had problems with vid cards... the biggest i had was an x1800xt though. not sure how it compares to my 8800. as far as i remember, the second slot runs at 8x mode when the jumpers are switched so you'll lose whatever performance difference that causes.
