An email sent by a teacher to the developer of a Linux distribution because she thinks there is no way software can ever be free. She also unlawfully confiscated the student's CD's.

I used to be able to edit the autoexec.bat and log in as any computer in any school within the county... bah 11th grade was 10 years ago... my how times have changed..

It's a good thing that people are spreading this news to show how ridiculous her letter is... she might have moved on to libraries.

Apparently the two talked and have straightened things out. I still think the teacher should have researched or asked BEFORE sending such an ignorant email.
