bushwack December 17, 2008 Share bushwack Member December 17, 2008 In the download area they have a few bench marks of their technology. http://unigine.com/products/unigine/ I ran the Tropics demo heres my scores with a intel 2160 and 8800gt. Default settings just changed the rez. 1280x1024 = 25.1fps 1600x1200 = 19.4fps 1920x1200 = 16.8fps Engine seems kinda pokey to me for the visuals displayed. What kind of fps you guys getting? I'm just trying to see what kind of improvement my 260 GTX will bring me...

bushwack December 31, 2008 Author Share bushwack Member December 31, 2008 I got an error when trying to run it on vista 64 I had an error too, seems it requires DX9 Aug 2008 or later. With my 260 gtx at 1600x1200 i got 41.6 fps, more then double what my 8800gt had.
JordanRinke December 31, 2008 Share JordanRinke Member December 31, 2008 31.8 at 1280x1024 on a 3ghz pentium d with a 9800 GT Ultimate. While I was multi-tasking some other apps so I could have probably pulled a couple more FPS out of it had I shut down the other stuff I was working on first. Go to the launchers and pick fullscreen whatever, after it starts hit the benchmark button in the upper left.
