Haven't played much in the last year or so - decided to load up some CS:GO and somehow randomly joined a GC server. It was really great to see GC still going strong and to see some familiar names. I apparently still had my GC tag on, so I was in a GC server with the GC tag completely dumbfounded asking other people with the tag if it was GC for Gamers Coalition super excited to see someone from the group, did I somehow end up in a GC server etc. I am sure I looked like an idiot, but it was entertaining. Hopefully I will get to play a bit more on a normal basis.

Just got my 5870 installed, and got the hacked nVidia drivers to run PhysX on the 9800 Ultra. 3DMark Vantage Score: P20828 GPU Score: 17689 CPU Score: 44533 A rather significant jump.

My ATI 5870 arrived yesterday, went to add it to the system... it is too long. I am going to have to take my entire system apart, dremel out a notch for it to fit in and then rebuild it all :-(

I still have the truck :-D 2 vehicles makes working on one a lot easier.

I just bought an 05 magnum, R/T v8 with leather and a sunroof. This if the first vehicle that had a V8, leather, and/or sunroof so I am pretty excited about it. Big upgrade from the little 4cy s-10 I have been driving for 9 years.

Currently a Product Engineer at Rackspace (We are hiring...) I design, spec, analyze new and emerging technologies to turn them in to product offerings for customers. This could be anything from selecting new hardware, to optimizing a soft process. Before that I spent 5 years as an Inrastructure Engineer at Wal-Mart managing 250,000 systems. Did automated deployment, new OS testing etc... and I do freelance design.

We have a mario wall and a space invaders wall, a couple of arcade games (street fighter etc). As a team project we are going to build a MAME rig :-D It is no googleplex but it is pretty cool.

I work at Rackspace, it is a cool place with fun people etc... this is a perfect example: I drew a picture of me (really poor outline) on a rolling whiteboard and put it by my desk to "pretend" I was here so when my manager looked over he would see it instead of me as a joke. Well, I left for lunch... by the time I got back a co-worker had re-drawn it (extremely well) and then made a cafepress site and sent out links so people could buy shirts and mugs and what not. http://www.cafepress.com/IRTermite Apparently people (friends and co-workers) are actually buying them too. Amazing how fast things get out of control around here. I am on the product team though, it is our job to design and build products. I guess this is just a side effect of being good at what we do hah.

So aside from sponsoring GC because it is awesome... what games are the hot ones right now for sponsorship? I am just curious what games cyber athletes should be playing to be staying prevalent in the PC gaming scene.

any chance we get a discount on that card? Also, what about stickers etc to slap on our rigs?
