186.21 Nvidia Beta driver is out

There's a new NVIDIA GeForce driver BETA out; 186.21. The driver is available for Windows Vista and Windows 7 64-bit only.

 

havent tried it out yet, bout to dl it now; and see how it goes.

How did it go?

 

I just updated my driver, wow CSS improved. Plus, now there is an option to overclock my chipset. I have not decided if I am going to try this.

What chipset do you have Thrux? Are you talking GPU or motherboard. I have a 680i(mother board) chipset an OC'ed the crap out of it only using air cooling.

I have the GeForce 9700m GT in my laptop. Anyone know if the regular drivers work with the mobile versions of the card? I am a bit in the dark as far as the real differences in the desktop vs mobile cards, other than the obvious.

No, as far as I am aware you should never use desktop drivers with mobile cards (fan speeds are completely different etc). Search http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ for the latest/greatest mobile drivers.
