Jibbajabba December 22, 2009 Share Jibbajabba Member December 22, 2009 (edited) I recently changed ISP in the last month and I have noticed that I have received quite a few comments from others about me lagging/jumping around when I have played in the past month. I don't seem to notice much of a difference on my end when I am playing but apparently others in the server are. I don't know much about rates, etc. Any advice or hints on what I may be able to do to address this in game? Going back to old ISP is not one btw...I am also not very good with computers so keep it as simple as possible. Laz.e.rus December 23, 2009 Share Laz.e.rus Member December 23, 2009 What kind of service do you have? There has always been an issue with wireless gameplaying. Also, do you know how to find your rates? when in the server, open your console ( ~ key if enabled in advanced keyboard settings options). type rate (enter) type cl_updaterate (enter) type cl_cmdrate (enter) type cl_interp (enter) also, if not enabled, type net_graph 3 (or netgraph_3 or something like that) then, when back in game, from the numbers on your screen, record your (ballpark average) ping, choke, and loss. then tell us all this stuff.
