A lot of people on deal forums share the same sentiment. Don't the best deals come with rebates (since on average some will forget to mail their rebates in thus allowing manufacturers to offer a bigger rebate)? I could see people hating rebates if they've had a manufacturer not honor a rebate (I've been fortunate in that area so far, but I can easily picture myself in that situation) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The only time I got ripped off was on one from a purchase from zipzoomfly that was for this 45gb IBM Deathstar.
