paroxysm May 13, 2012 Share paroxysm Member May 13, 2012 (edited) Lately, the frequency of crashes has increased to a point where it's not just playable since we can't even finish a campaign without it crashing. I'm taking a break until they get resolved or significantly minimized. I firmly believe that the plugins are causing crashes, disabling them 1 by 1 and observing the stability might help pin-point which plugin(s) are causing them. TheDude May 13, 2012 Share TheDude Member May 13, 2012 anything we can do to minimize the chance of the server crashing?
Lookback May 13, 2012 Share Lookback Member May 13, 2012 Yeah, these crashes are a real shame. Without a doubt the biggest issue for the server.

ValenAlvern May 14, 2012 Share ValenAlvern Member May 14, 2012 If I recall correctly, the server keeps cache of what players have connected. Sure they're a couple what Kb's, but they add up, especially since it cashes their data for the server plugins as well. So when the server becomes to overwhelm with them it crashes. Then there if the game was updated or not, this can cause the servers to herp a derp.
Lookback May 14, 2012 Share Lookback Member May 14, 2012 Why not cut down what is collected then?
paroxysm May 16, 2012 Author Share paroxysm Member May 16, 2012 BUMP : Can we get an update of whether this is getting looked into? I don't think most players would mind the stats plugins being disabled if there's a possibility that it will fix these crashes.
Flitterkill May 16, 2012 Share Flitterkill GC Board Member May 16, 2012 We're still working to get the stats backend working correct. That may have something to do with it. Hang tight a little while longer...
