Banned In L4D2 through back talk. my bad

Hi my guys my names Oscar and my steam name is 'Ocar501st' sorry but I cannot exactly remember who banned but I will give my best to state what happened. and it happened in this server gcftw.com | !buy 10v10 #1 --I think-- and Here is what happened to lead to my banning.

 

I was playing a VS's in the last level of the mall and it seemed that people were not really being helpful and it actually seemed that some people were trying to sabotage our chances of winning by destroying out gas canisters. This had gotten me pretty irritated because they were purposely trying to make us angry.

 

(A little back story at the beginning of the last level of this event there was this--who I think is an admin--admin talking about their personal life and getting agitated because of old memories. Memories that in my mind seemed very delicate to share with random people on the internet and after her story she was becoming a bit irritating. Almost any little mistake she would, not lash out but be a little heavy on people mistakes. and then people started to blow up canisters.)

 

I then came running over to salvage whatever gas was left to put in the car and yelled at the people who "trolling us," in my words," stop f*cking shooting the damn gases! We F*cking need those." I took absolute responsibility to saying this I hope that you can at least forgive me on my language. I was then talked to, in game, by this admin to say that this is a family server and then I, while still agitated because not only were toxic players messing up everything for everybody else but this admin would do nothing about it. So , i in a foolish mode replied in the chat with, "sorry I didn't think there were children here." I said it to be mocking and offensive because to me, this is a Mature 17+ up game. In game you can clearly hear the characters saying and shouting profanities. This is the reason why i retaliated, I am not trying to say that I am right you are wrong but this is what I did and I do regret it. It is wonderful server with many incredible "phat" plays. Having to be on the ground while your teammates are dying and realizing you have just enough to fully revive yourself from the brink of death is exhilarating and fun! So I do apologize but at the same time I feel conflicted that what that admin did was half right. She may have kicked those other players but I did not get the chance to see and I feel that it was a rash decision since I did my best to help the team. While others were trying sabotage it.

 

Again I am incredibly sorry for my actions and I hope to return to playing your amazing servers but this time with a better attitude and aura toward my team mates and admins.

Thanks for taking the time to come to the forums. I have PMed the admin who issued your ban and hopefully he will be along shortly. In the future if you feel as though someone is griefing PM an admin, it is very much against the rules and should be dealt with. Also know that there are many strategies to the server that people have picked up on that may seem like griefing at first but are really meant to help the team as a whole.

 

Be patient until Madvillian can get around to your post.

We do not allow cursing on our servers. We realize the game is a mature-rated game, but these are our rules. With 20 people playing in a competitive game, it certainly helps to keep things from getting out of control. Most people do not find it very difficult to abstain from foul language in the servers. First off, let's get some clarity in what went down here. No one was purposely lighting gas cans, if gas cans were being lit at all.... After I asked you a couple times to watch your language you lashed out. You didn't say anything about children being on the server you directly called us children with another bad word thrown in somewhere in there. You are lucky it was all over the mic so I don't have chat logs to back it up. However I know Chick was there along with some regulars, I am sure they will be happy to help add to the details if needed.

 

Secondly, you have been previously banned for griefing by a different admin. We do not allow griefing or killing your self in game, you are lucky you didn't get a permaban from that incident.

 

I really don't see why you deserve another chance at playing on our servers if you have no respect for our community. However because you came to the forums and sort of apologized I will remove the permaban. I am changing the ban to two weeks because I think you need a little more time to study our rules for the server and to wrap your brain around how to treat other human beings.

 

Let this be your final warning, you have already accumulated two strikes.... get that third strike and you are out for good.
