ZeroDamage February 25, 2015 Share ZeroDamage Member February 25, 2015 I've registered a couple of new domains. One of them needs email hosting and with Google Apps no longer a free option, I am open to suggestions for alternatives. Anyone have any recommendations? I can cost something but I want it to be worth the money. Rackspace? Hushmail?
stutters February 25, 2015 Share stutters GC Alumni February 25, 2015 You're willing to pay something but you're not willing to give Google $5? Their spam filter is worth that alone, let alone the access to other tools in Apps (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
infernalpudding February 25, 2015 Share infernalpudding Member February 25, 2015 (edited) Have you given FastMail.com a look? They seem to be a pretty popular paid solution for folks migrating away from Google for email. On another note, last year I opened up one of the free tier Zoho.com accounts to power email for a domain. The interface isn't as nice as fastmail's in my opinion, but no problems with it thus far and hey, another free option is always nice. I should note that I send and receive relatively little email with it, so I may not have noticed any minor outages had any occurred. So no, Google isn't on my list.
