dwEEziL September 11, 2003 Share dwEEziL Member September 11, 2003 Ok, I went looking for the fix again and if you go to the link I originally linked to and scroll down to post #18 you will see the following link for the viewdemo.zip. http://www.slipgate.de/download/viewdemo.zip I have also mirrored it here: http://drevil.cc.vt.edu/dweezil/cs/viewdemo.zip You might want to thoroughly read the viewdemo.txt first though as there does seem to be some issues regarding this patch. Here is the warning from the viewdemo.txt. WARNING!-------- This Viewdemo update doesn't work, if you installed DoD 1.0 or the HLDS 3111/4111 patch. If your HL.EXE crashes after you installed this patch, delete the 3 files listed above. Maybe reinstall the recent HL/CS/DoD updates, if HL keeps crashing. However I have side effects. <I don't know if it's related or coincidence.> CS starts now, but when I try to connect to TROP, i get "LAN servers are restricted to local clients (Class C)." oooookay.. the other servers dont give me that... Guest splatem September 14, 2003 Share Guest splatem Guests September 14, 2003 The reason you are getting the "LAN servers are restricted to local clients (class c)" message is because the server is running CS 1.6... you need to go to fileplanet and download steam to get CS 1.6...
