CowboyFromHell`X November 6, 2003 Share CowboyFromHell`X Member November 6, 2003 Hmm. Isn't it true that if you're more positive about life when you're sick you have a better chance of living?

CowboyFromHell`X November 7, 2003 Share CowboyFromHell`X Member November 7, 2003 Hehe. You always reply to mine anyway. It is interesting though. Emotions play an important part of your health. It's the old "mind over matter" idea. And I guess it's better to think god is on your side than to think well... you're edging towards the gates of heck. I like to figure it this way. When I'm playing, well, CS for example and I say to myself "I'm going to play the best I can, and I'll win." Usually, not all the time, but usually I end up having a decent score. But if I go into it saying "Well, I can't win so I'll just BS my way about." I usually end up having a bullet inbetween my eyes. I know it's a really weird analogy, but that article made sense and this is the best way I can interpret it.
Xterminator November 15, 2003 Share Xterminator Member November 15, 2003 I believe that it can help you. A good spiritually life can help you have a good life. When i hear the phrase "thank god you still have your health" it makes me wonder about this.
