auggybendoggy December 29, 2003 Share auggybendoggy Member December 29, 2003 I like the 3d shoot em up so I have to say I think this is the funnest game I've played yet. starcraft is pretty cool. I'm going to try star wars galaxies since I've heard such good stuff about it. Also I totally dug on opposing force single player. Crowbar December 29, 2003 Share Crowbar Member December 29, 2003 man get up-to-date. try out Enemy Territory - (FREE) multiplayer first person shooter that's as fast paced and fun as CS. Max Payne 1 or 2 - Awsome shoot-em-up action. Grand Theft Auto - Running around blowing things up and beating down innocent people is about all there is to this game. Opposing Force was pretty cool, Blue Shift is good as well, but they're pretty old. Try some of those new ones.
dwEEziL December 29, 2003 Share dwEEziL Member December 29, 2003 Blue Shift was ok, just too short. Deus Ex is/was an awesome game too. Also, while I have it but have never played it, I have heard that "System Shock 2" is a classic.

dwEEziL December 30, 2003 Share dwEEziL Member December 30, 2003 I was playing Opposing Forces on my old computer (433 Celery, 394MB Ram, 2 Voodoo2 1000's in SLI...played HL through, then Blue Shift before playing Opp) but it kept crashing. Actually, that was how I knew it was time to quit playing for the day. When I got my new system, I never reinstalled it.
auggybendoggy December 30, 2003 Author Share auggybendoggy Member December 30, 2003 dweez did you ever get to the point where you find the other millitary units who will help you? Aug
Crowbar December 30, 2003 Share Crowbar Member December 30, 2003 well..."help" may not be the right word. if I remember right, they were more of a hassle, especially when they were trying to keep up. There's a specific part I remember, you have to go up into a busted out tile in a drop ceiling, and it's a real pain getting the military to follow, if you can do it at all. dwEEziL December 30, 2003 Share dwEEziL Member December 30, 2003 I don't think so. I don't really remember it too much though cuz it was three years ago.
