I wish i could fire her... But i believe im stuck with her forever.. The company is in my name, but my dad still works there.. When he retires he will still get a paycheck.. Maybe then ill kick her out the door..

Ok at my office we have a few pc's all on cable modem. My idiot sister works with me, god i hate it.. BUT she is always on the internet and not doing her work.. Im 32 and she's 34, a while ago i started getting really ticked off about it cause i was sick of having to say something to her all the time. So all i did was started looking at the internet history on the machine she was using and then adding all the url's to the blocking filter.. Im a crappy little brother.. Its been so much fun watching her try to find a website she can goto!! For the longest time she had no idea that it was me blocking all her favorite web spots.. Every site she visits she gets that message, "This site has been blocked by system administrator" she's crys "what in the hell is wrong with this internet!?" Well i came into work today a little late, and she had the 192.168.0.1 page up and trying to figure out my password!!! I think she finally figured it out!!!

Lastnight i got to the night-time beach level.. Where you go into the woods, see some mutants and then a boat comes up behind you shooting you.. Those darn mutants are freaky, but the moonlight on the water looks very cool.. But ive probably put 10 hrs into the single player to get to that point.. But i have no idea how much longer it is.. This is the first level after you find the girl..

That link isnt to the Refurbished one... I would never buy one like that.. I like having the box.. And im gonna look a bit longer, thats the best thing about pc's you can wait and it always gets better and cheaper.. I never feel like i have to hury up and buy a pc part befor it gets too expensive..

LOL No, i dont think ill be getting an Athlon64 as of yet... Maybe after they come out with some programs that use 64bit... Like when they comeout with WinXP-64 maybe ill finally buy an os. But in the mean time, i think that barton will get me through the next 1.5 yrs.. Oh and besides the extra mem slot and dual channel support what is different about that MOBO i linked and the pro?? And do regular pc3200 mem sticks work in a dual channel mobo?? Oh and sorry to hear that you've been sick Homer.. Oh Homey i hope you feel better soon..

Thanks for the input guys, im looking at the pro now.. Oh and i like the retail cpu's, i have the 1700+ oc'd to 2000+ with the retail hs+fan. I added a copper shimm and some thermal paste..

Wow NOFX i wish my dad were like yours... I had to buy all the stuff i got... Timex Sinclear 1000 (2k mem, and a tape drive) Commodore VIC-20 Commodore 64 Commodore 128 286sx 386sx 386dx 486dx several amd k6-266 amd 1.0gig T-Bird amd 1700+ And all the mem, drives, accessories... I ran a BBS in the early 80's on my C=64 called The Fortress, i had 5 SFD-1001 1meg drives. I wanted a 10meg hard drive sooooo bad for my BBS but it cost WAY too much at the time.. My first HD was a Cavalier40meg drive.. hehe

I decided on these two items: MoBo CPU That will go very well with my 512megs of PC-3200 mem and my Radeon 9700np...

Wow Homer! Those are some nice scores! So 300 bucks for MB+CPU.. Ill have to think about it, but thats not too bad... Im getting back 4k from taxes, but i gotta get my wifes volvo into the shop to fix an oil leak. And the taxes are paying for the house and condo in florida this june.. And my wife told my kids they could each have some money to buy some toys with.. And im sure that she has some spending in mind as well.. To all the single guys out there, DONT get married and have 3 kids... Unless you live on a farm..

I get my taxes tomorrow, im ordering a new MB and CPU. And maybe another stick of 512 mem.. Ill get a Barton with a faster fsb. NOFX showed me a sweet mb on newegg that im gonna get.. I dont know why though everything is running good now.. Although id like to get more than the 50-60 fps im getting with FarCry right now. I would have guessed the game was running faster than that cause it looked very smooth. But when i turned on fraps i saw what it was running at and i was disapointed.. Im just not happy unless its over 85 steady..

I know Crowbar glued this up above, but i cant believe just how cool this game is!! I got it yesterday at Sams Club for $34.99, and played till 3am lastnight with only a short cs break around 11pm. There are so many cool things about this game, i LOVE when you get hit and the screen blurrs for a sec. The graphics look so darn real when you die and your dead eyes are looking at the trees over head. I played some multiplayer lastnight with it, being an engineer with your fixin wrench is fun. Building walls and towers, and i love the sound of the silenced smg "tick..tick..tick..tick..tick". ok im rambling, all i know is this is the BEST fps ive played in a LONG time. And ive been around since the beginning, ive had every game machine and all flavors of pc's for the last 25 yrs. Gond, you should have gotten this instead of CS:CZ...

My friend still has a gig drive from 1982 that is the size of a large deep freeze. You should hear how loud it is. He used it on his Amiga back in the day..

You and your roommate sound very close. I dl'ed 3dmark2001se again lastnight and i scored a 10,875.. AMD xp1700+ oc'd to xp1900+ ECS k7s5a mb 266fsb 512 megs of pc-3200 cas2.5 Radeon 9700np Accually i got the chip and mem runnin at 333mhz, been that way since the weekend, and not a problem yet..

Ok im gonna get FarCry befor i get UT2K4, it sounds so darn fun... I have ut2k3, it was ok but it just didnt grab me. I hope FarCry's multiplayer is good..
