Well, I for one would rather be able to shop around to pay $500 dollars for a GPU than $750 or more. If price fixing were not a crime, we would be living in a much different society. One without a free market.

ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT: Calling a Spade a Spade There's no doubt about it. ATI's release here has almost put Nvidia in the GPU market in the same place Intel is in the CPU market, though not as bad, and certainly a recoverable move. I'm starting to wish AMD did not buy out ATI. The more I look at this situation, the more obvious it becomes that the move was very bad for consumers. It also becomes very clear that the buyout was intended solely to buy time for AMD to survive. I hope they have something up they're sleeves. I really do. BTW when is that Alan Wake game due out? Anyone know? That looks pretty cool!

The one thing I absoloutly hate about ATI (now AMD/ATI) is that when they come out with a new card/line of cards, they pull the top of line cards from the previous line off the shelves. Try their website. No X1950XTX This is always the case. Unlike Nvidia cards where you can hold out for bit & buy a depreciated card at a decent price. I think my next card is going to be Nvidia.

All the H8 for Wayfarer + serious lack of practice = sitting duck in CSS. I will continue playing WoW! Can you really blame me?

Karazhan is a 10 man raid with 10 bosses in it. Shade of Aran, Terestian Illhoof, and Prince Malchezaar are the 7, 8 & 9 bosses. Several guilds have been stuck on shade. Once we are able to successfully clear Karazhan without much difficulty it is put on "farm" status. Meaning we go in there clear the bosses repeatedly so everyone can get what they want/need from the boss drops. Karazhan is the "introduction" raid for the expansion. There are several 25 man raids after Karazhan that require the weapons & armor that we accumulate from there.

Although I really want to try this, and I probably will in the not too distant future, there's just too much going on in WoW ATM. We took down shade of aran & the prince in kara this past week. Once we have that instance on farm we start 25 man raids.

I, for the longest time, refused to try games that had a monthly fee attatched to them. That changed when I tryed WoW. Since picking it up last August, my monthly gameing fee's have decreased, becasue I am no longer buying 1-2 games a month. Just the $15 charge as opposed to $75+ for a game i get bored of in a week or so. Since then I've been looking at MMORPG very differently. The only downside IMO is the addiction factor.
