That looks sweet, preacher...really sweet! That's not the first time someone has mentioned that card in paticular as well! Thank-You for the offer of shipping it to me but the only problem I have is that it's a refurbished card. Although 99% of the time it's ok, if something did go wrong it would be a nightmare going back & forth between Newegg & myself. Are there any suggestions on the ATI website? Brillow, I did not notice there were 2 pages to this thread...nor did I happen to look at the dates of the individual posts...I bought the ones Fatty sent back....... ...DOH! Anyway, guess I'll wait and see what they're like, though I really wish I had realized the dates. What really sold me was Shep saying in game a couple of weeks ago that he got logi 350 and they were sweet. But in this thread he decided to trade them for the LTB USB 5.1 Ohwell...I have not used a headset so maybe they will be fine for me, though the FPS thing kinda worries me. Shep has not posted here for awhile about his headset, maybe he's happy with they're performance?

you guys sold me on the USB 5.1... mine are on the way! now does anyone have some ideas for network cables for fragfest? Thank-You!

At first I did'nt like this map at all, but after playing it a few times I found that this map is probably the most well rounded map of all. Both open areas for sniper weapons and tight coridors for close combat. LOTS of hiding spots. Both bomb sites are readily available for T's & CT's alike. Both are used. A large map that will have a bit of a learning curve, I think it would eventually be a a very exciting map. This map is by far the best one of the four in my opinion. Although bomb site A, once planted, is very difficult for CT's to difuse, I find this is the only short comming. Dark, clausterphobic, this is the stuff of nightmares! Fans of Doom will really enjoy this map. The tight cooridors make sniper weapons useless, and a shotgun & flashbang lovers dream come true. If this map survives it would do well on scopeless as there is no need for the more expensive weapons here. The money saved could be used for nightvision for those that were complaining how dark the map is. I had no problems with it, but I have yet to use the nightvision. This map, although a lot of fun, is a snipers dream. You can climb onto almost any rooftop, get to second levels of buildings and shoot out windows, and there is a clear view to almost anywhere on the map. I found myself dying within seconds of spawning just trying to get to a good spot! Bomb site A is very difficult to infiltrate for either T's or CT's unless they all rush at the same time. Bomb site B I have yet to see used. It is a very small area inside the small bank building and it looks like a deathtrap. Although I repeatedly asked T's to try it, (they said they would), no one did. The only redeeming part is the underground sewers that go directly to bomb site A, though they started to get congested. I've played this map before on custom map night. I think it's a cool map with some unique characteristics. First of all, despite what everyone is saying, I think this map leans towards CT's rather than T's. The Ct's can get to that corner chokepoint underground faster than T's can.This can lead to CT's getting behind enemy lines and cause great confusion. Not to mention hitting 2-3 enemies in the back before they're aware of you! Also, in case anyone has not noticed, CT's can view both bomsites from multiple locations! Check out the view from bombsite A in my screenshots! I think this one is a keeper, but I think because of it's size it will eventually be a boring map. Just wondering how people are stacked. I'm bringing my computer. Its a P4 1.7ghz with 512mb ram and ATI radeon 9200 card. I was thinking on doubling my ram before I go. I'm pretty sure I'll do fine, but thought I would ask for some input. Thank-You. P.K.

Just wondering, does everybody that plays CS-S use aimbots or something? I don't cheat, I don't see the point in it (only really fooling yourself!). But today while playing on Recrud. a number of people were chating, saying that everyone does it. They were refering to aimbots. Normally I would'nt care what they said but I recognized the people who were saying it. Also a couple of weeks ago when Valve said they were going to come out with VAC2 I noticed I was A LOT more competitive. So I went online and typed in aimbot and found plenty of information. I don't want to cheat but if I am the only one, is it really cheating? I know I'm fairly new to online gaming, but sometimes I really scratch my head. There have been a number of instances where I KNOW I should have come out on top, but did not. Is this just me? Thank-You P.K.
