Been playing CS since the tailend of Beta 4, got into it with Beta 5....I remember the time before smoke grenades existed, the guns had their real names, the colt was always silenced and had a zoom like the Aug....Flashbangs sometime worked, HE Nades where hit or miss, Hacks where everywhere, spiked models, all guns shot through walls and and what not with pretty good accuracy...I remember Milita, Siege, good old Oilrig! I used to play on a Celeron 400 MHz with 64MB ram and 8MB SIS video card....on AOL Dialup...500 ping. Thats where I learned how to be Silent!....creeping around oilrig with a pistol and knife trying to get the VIP....oh yah, the VIP used to only have a knife

I drift in there on rare times....I have played way too much scopless now, not used to rifles with scopes on them

Cujo, I felt the same, I was not hitting anything with all my shots. I figured out m2's Strat though, Rubber bullets for our team Knife round was fun, I knifed m2 and made myself a happy camper SilentStile

Two Things, 1) How do you record a demo? 2) having been on with the guy, he either has really good eye hand cordination, or he hacks everytime i speced him the crosshairs where right level with the head. I have seen people that i know dont hack play the same way, you just have to be good, really good. Btw, the person in question was swearing a bit in the mic, but in response to accusations. I would just like to say, I enjoy killing Norguard on all three of the above maps, Compound being my Favorite As was discussed for compound, using smoke grenades for the CTs is almost required, though having people through HE and Flash nades over the wall from the T side is annoying at best.(3 HEs from the Ts is deadly btw ) Piranesi is just incrediable...i love that Map.

How do you even look up steam IDs? never figured it out yet.
