  1. Not sure if you're seeing this, but that's my question. If we want to shoot you a message, what's the best way? I'm insanely jealous and living vicariously through your posts. Would love to send some atta boys on those tough days.
  2. That's a mouse trap. Top surface is an industrial strength adhesive. If you're hunting for a new mouse, this is easily the best way to catch one. Are you Canadian?
  3. Their is'nt much too no about ENglish.
  4. BRB NEED TO REFILL MY BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICINE.
  5. @LOLIMJESUS: If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on your attitude being the reason for a ban. Sorry bruh, you're just not that good. @turnbullTeRRoR: This ban shouldn't have been lifted, especially without giving it enough time to hear from the banning the admin first.
  6. Just got a random like for a post about getting vent access. If you're a GC member, head over to our mumble server instead. If you're not, go register to become a member.
  7. I'm surprised you couldn't hear my rage through the internet. This guy will have to suffice.
  8. IMO, I'd just focus on getting the contacts out. Most of the other stuff in your phone isn't going to transfer to your new one. Don't throw your old phone away, reference it as needed (notes, it seems like) and don't over complicate it.
  9. Before you do anything drastic, have you looked at T-Mobile lately? http://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phones/apple-iphone-5c.html
  10. Why? No, seriously. I needed to do this to migrate from iPhone to Android. I didn't find anything that would grab everything reliably. - Notes: Synced to iCloud. Also switched to Evernote to avoid this in the future. - Contacts: Synced to Google. Use that as my primary, now. - Calendar: Already on Google (or Exchange for work). I didn't care about app data, but in case I ever went back (and I did), I made sure to a full backup through iTunes. So, seriously. Why?
  11. I get an incredibly strong LTE signal in all of our restrooms.
  12. You're treading a really thin HR line. If you have concerns about her performance at work, I'd address that entirely independent of the assumed cell phone usage. That said, if you have a written network policy at work, chances are you have the right to monitor all traffic on your network. This will only work for her on wifi, but chances are she's using that instead of wasting battery and data usage on a 3g/4g connection. You'd need to find her MAC address to have complete certainty. You could get that with some effort, but I really don't think the effort is worth it. If you have concerns with an employee's productivity, address that. Don't make allegations. It's a bad look.
  13. Let's just say it's somewhere between the first and last reason. I am surprised to learn "You're a Red Wings fan trying to cross the border into Toronto" isn't a valid reason to deny passage, though -- especially at the Windsor tunnel.
  14. I'm not allowed in Canada. The Cup visited Portland to celebrate 100 years of hockey in the city. The Portland Rosebud's first season was 1914 and won the championship in 1916. They're one of the only teams to have a permanent place on The Cup -- more because they weren't thinking about how big the thing would be in 100 years.
  15. Kissed the cup. Shook the hand of hockey (Philip Pritchard). And sacrificed a baby to the hockey gods. I'm not sure what else I have to look forward to in life.
  16. Depends what you're looking for. Twitter - great to keep friends and family up to date on your location (and safety). If you use it just for this purpose, mark it as a private account and only approve people you trust follow it. Probably not a great idea to say "I'm at MM43 on APC" on a public account unless you're into the whole Deliverance thing. Tumblr - great for longer form posts ("the week in NOFX"). It gives you a unique email address that you can send posts to and have it automagically publish posts. Supports image attachments and video embeds, plus gives you more than 140 characters to work with.
  17. If that's the most valuable thing you learn on your trip, you've still won.
  18. Fair enough. I go see the Belmont goats at least once a week.
  19. I generally rate movies on a "see it in the theater" or "pirate it" or "skip it" scale (credit: Sound Opinions). This is definitely a movie I'd recommend seeing on the big screen. The cinematic/theater experience is part of the presentation. You must live in some boring part of the country. That isn't hipster, this is. And this is hipster. And no, neither belong to me.
  20. Go see it. It's out now. You're welcome. http://vimeo.com/84313867
