I had to say Sunday, Monday to Thursday is never easy for me before 10EST and I'm trying to commit to being home on Wednesdays a little earlier to get some "different gametype time"..... Fridays and Saturdays I tend to get online later to play and I'm not sure most folks want to be scrimming after 11pm EST.

Quick question, I was going to join last night, but saw that the server had a nice even 10 folks on there and I didn't know if you guys were having a friendly match etc. As future reference will it be passworded if that is happening? Just so I don't click join and find myself being requested to leave.

No sir not yet.... I can tell you that the server is up and running strong we had a fun game of eight on eight last night. I can already see there's going to take some time to build of a reliable following so there's always someone in the server. I don't think I missed it above, but having the IP would help The biggest frustration I have with our server from time to time is sheer scale, it would be nice to have somewhere more cozy...

I can only think the first 3 letters of Night. Speaking of last night, it was fun to mix it up a bit, but I'd still like to see the slot count cut down a little when we're not doing TDM. Maybe capped at 10 a side?

Will this be all night or for a couple of hours? I plan on trying to be there for it most weeks and just need to know if I need to be home by a certain time.....

I've enjoyed TDM as a way to start getting back into COD4 after an unwanted 2 month break, but to echo the previous posts, it would be nice to switch it up a bit, although I don't get to play mid week often, I'd love to see one night become a bit more varied even if it had to be mid week. I'm not sure I'd want to play S&D with 14 on each team though ...................... 8-10 would probably be more than enough.

Yeah, I think I'll need to try a "reset to factory defaults" type thing and see if it works.

We had/have a total of 3 Wiimotes. We don't use them excessively, probably a couple of hours a week at most and have had the Wii for probably about a year now. Two of the remotes seem to have lost their "motion sensing" capability, but have only been used for probably a grand total of 50 hours each, not been thrown or banged against hard objects etc. Anyone else had this problem? I can't believe we've had two die so quickly/with so little use and I'm wondering if anyone's encountered this/found a solution or whether I've just been unlucky and have two "duds". (I've tried fresh batteries, resetting their connection to the Wii etc.)

Both good things imo, I managed to get on for a couple of hours last night. After 2 months out, I was please I didn't suck quite as badly as I thought I was going to. I'm looking forward to getting some more time to kill in the evenings over the coming weeks.

I've looked to join the server a couple of times in the last few days, but haven't seen any names on there I recognize, is there a good time when people are getting on?

I came up with 144 and something I think was in the 190s or was it the 170s but my working is still at the office and I can't be bothered to try again.

There aren't enough nades in the world to kill a full grown M2. Actually to echo Jackie's post, I've been really busy in 2008, but have had a couple of opportunities to get on the server but have ended up going to TF2 or powering up the 360. I think 20+ players certainly works well with CSS and TF2, but it can get a bit too frantic in COD4 at times with that many people. I'm out interviewing this evening over dinner, but I shall be joining the server when I get home and the kids/wife are tucked up in bed.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as boiler, I played 1 + 2 and loved them. I did think the demo was good, but the gameplay didn't make me want to rush out and buy it, I got the impression that it was really just a pretty version of the old games which isn't on the whole a bad thing, but I was left with the feeling that I'd be as well off going back and playing DMC2 on my PS2 as spending $60 on a "pretty version" of the same thing. I would happily be told that I'm wrong, but I think I'll be dowloading Sid Meier's Pirates from Xbox live on Monday instead of running out to get this.

Well, it's been 6 weeks since I was last in there, but that will change, I have no idea if I would need a password is it an automatic reserve etc.
