  1. Next time, I promise to be there, just send me an email direct telling me when and where and I'll carve out the time from the office . . .
  2. Joined West - booted to midwest, 6:30ish PM, and it happened about 4 times . . .so much for playing CS in the west
  3. Step 1 - Set a date: I say six months from FF Ohio so that makes it January 2007? Frozen Frag Fest California?
  4. Thank you. Its was great to meet you and the crew.
  5. Yeah I may change it to "{Q} Ginny Gin Gin".
  6. For a first timer, it was a good time. I was able to enjoy my Gin and Frag until I didn't want to Frag anymore. Assuming I'm still around next year (i.e. don't have a new baby on the way or something) I'd like to step up and help more. I'm also hoping we can get more Westies out there next year. I know its a bit of a financial bite with the plane/rental cars and what not, but it was a heck of a good time. I think most of the improvements have already been mentioned, so I'll just end with, damn good job guys, damn good! Oh yeah, Mav's Son needs to be grandfathered into any and all age limits, he's a cool kid.
  7. We'll I've completed the 2000+ mile journey home and am same for those of you that worried. FF 2006 was a blast and the WESTSIDERS that came all had fun. Thank you all for all the fun and entertainment. {Q} P.S. Did you know that Ebil can fit inside of a Mark 14 Torpedo? Pics to come!
  8. Too Far. . . . BubbleGum Bandit, Denver, CO, 1344 miles {Q}, Phoenix, AZ, 2088 miles Mossad, Mesa, AZ, 2071 miles EbilDustBunny, Cape Coral, FL, 1200 miles Eltargrim, Meridian, ID 1778 (by way of Arizona so add on another 2088 miles . . .) There is no "too far"!!
  9. We can still do it this year . . . . the formal dinner I mean.
  10. You'll never know until you try . . . . I should wear a Tux the first day and a 3 piece suit the next. That would be funny.
  11. So I'll get there Friday in the late afternoon with Mossad and Eltargrim. We may or may not be drunk at that time. Few simple Q's: 1. Food / Booze in the ballrom - what are the restrictions? All bring your own? Can we buy stuff from the bar and bring it into the room? 2. Rental PC - Bring my mouse, mouse pad, mouse pad pad, keyboard, headset, and ? 3. Since its a ballrom, should I wear my tux? Will Ebil be wearing a full formal Ball Gown? What about Laz, what would he wear? 4. What other questions should us first time FFers be asking?
  12. I'll bring him along with Eltargrim as we are all arriving around the same time (gotta work on Thursday and lose many hours due to silly timezones). Moss, Just email me at quatele@cox.net {Q}
  13. I'm flying in on AmWest Flight 534 Departing Phoenix at 8:56 AM (Friday) and arriving at 3:57 PM in CLE. When I booked it, it was $434. {Q}
  14. Moss, ur in Mesa, right? I'm in the Phoenix area too but found the best prices to fly into Cleveland. In case something else doesn't work out, if you are at the CLE airport around 4 PM on Friday I can give you a ride. I'm meeting one other guy there already.
  15. Thanks for the offer. I prefer to have a car in case I want to go . . . . do other interesting things . . . .
  16. I'm up for Sushi and the Pickebills. Q no fear the fish or crusty-a-sions. I won't be flying in until Friday but I will be renting a car. Should I get a bigger car to squeeze more folks in?
  17. Seriously Ebil is awesome and did a great job setting this up. I haven't had that much fun in a long time. I owe Ebil a TOP SHELF drink at FF06! Long Live EBIL!
  18. I told you to stay away from my hindquarters!
  19. MCM - Very nice! I'm finally getting back into the swing of regular exercise. A few years ago I ruptured my left Achilles tendon (i.e. it broke in half). Up until then I was fairly athletic and worked out regularly. After spending a few months in a wheel chair and then a few more on crutches, I finally regained use of the leg. The doctors told me "don't run anymore, okay" which was a bit a of blow since I'd been told I'd fully recover. So after feeling sorry for myself for a few more months I slowly began working out again. Then, which was about two years ago, I got promoted. My new team was 3X larger than my old and so began the 70-80 hour weeks at the office. When you get up go to work and then come home and go to sleep, you tend to not want to do anything else. So after another two years and some really big projects at the office, my life has returned to a normal enough state that I can begin again on myself. So I'm now just three weeks into the "Six Million Dollar {Q}" project and doing pretty decent. Got a trainer and I have motivation. We'll see where I'm at by FragFest. I started the project at 225 lbs. I'm not at 217lbs. I hope to be around 200 by FF06. {Q}
  20. {Q}'s kicked in. See you at FragFest!
