alright reinstalled, changed to open gl. Now everything stats except the dd. As sweet as this may sound I just end up running into them. is there like a cl_showdoors command I should get on stock and start awping through some of the walls. No really I am playing BF2 now so I won't be on much anyways but want to get this fixed or else i will have to switch out my video catd whenever i play.

I can tell you. I fell for that joke, just as you describe, when I first started playing CS (this was a non-gc server). I was a bit deterred. I have never been back to the server, of course the fact that I don't know the IP, and I play on GC servers would be the reason for that..... but still. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I fell for the F!0 joke back in 1.6. I laughed. I thought it was funny. Now I say things like hit F!10 for aimbot, wallhacks or cash hacks. I think taking an f10 joke is part of cs and everyone should be a little less sensitive to the plight of the nublets. If it were't for F10 jokes I would know you could quit that way.

I just bought a 9800 pro and it isn't working worth crap for CS(although it runs bf2 beautifully). I get tearing and things dissapear(like my gun, or the radar). Sometimes all the walls become clear. Which would be col except I just run into them and can't navigate the map. I have the newest drivers and blah blah blah. I did install steam and cs with my old geforce 4 thinking maybe I should reinstall it. Any opinions?

realy. I was serious about the kicks with time. It would help with managing the servers in the early morning a ton. Not saying the admins are bad, but we all have to sleep sometime and it always seems the admins sleep while I play.

An older map? That point aside I agree. I think the powers that be may want to check out other versios of Assault (2k5), that have more doors/vents while keeping the classic alive. I really don't think it is that lopsided but it is rather boring. I would love to see an fy map put on the server. Not ice world or the likes, but one that was a little more interesting. The round limit would go really quickly so those who didn't like it wouldn't suffer too much, and those who liked variety would get a tase.

I thnk this is a testament to the emotional state of the author at the time of this post. anyways, I would like to see more kicks. With time. Like 20 minute kicks for people who cuss or argue at all. I think all gc should have a kick with time power, that can only be used if admin is absent. I also think we should weaponize space and test nuclear weapons in third world countries. JK on that last one.

I have been geting lag spikes up to almost 1000, but my general connection is better. I deleted my config.cfg file because I had been messing around with it alot over the last few days and thought I had somehow messed myself up there, but no dice(although my choke is down to about 50 now). I tried a few other servers and even tried BF2 and wasn't having this problem. I had heard some complaints about SBC on scopeless a few days ago and wondered if anyone was still having problems who also uses SBC. I also switched to an ATI card which has caused tears when my ping gets high. so I guess I want to know if my cfg file can increase ping and if my vid card can. Doesn't make any sense to me.

I finally get it up and running and everyone seems to have abandoned the game. Oh well still having fun pubbing. Prolly spend my time on bf2 until the cs servers get switched.

I'd like to reset my config but the directions above aren't getting me anywhere. The autocongig.exe doesn't seem to be where it should be. Anyone agree?

this server doesn't run any faster for me, or have less choke. I blame the British spies who are destroying Al-Quaedas websites. I think they heard how deadly a glock is in my hands and decided to ruin my fun.

Still hoping and crying. The new server isn't any better for me. When it was empty I did alright but now that it is full its is no better.

I don't think I can play until this is taken care of. I just get frustrated then feel stupid for being so frustrated about a game.

I am new to gc, and as such don't know much about what is going on. I just stumbled upon this and spent the last hour or so reading through it (I started skipping ahead because I couldn't wait to read what was going on atm). I can't believe what you and your family have had to deal with, and how well you have been able to do it. I have spent the last few days complaining about lag and choke problems(I'm such a bum). I think I would have gone crazy by now if i were you. I am glad to hear Danielle is through the worst of it. I don't pray much, but I will throw a few up for you and your family.

Man I hate being T on a losing team. If I am CT I can buy armor and a helmet and feel confident my USP will get me through 'til I can pick up something better. If I am T I just feel like uninstalling steam instead of going at it with my bb gun glock. I will often switch to ct to help out, but I have to be in a really giving mood to switch to T.
