actually Duma, his post was specifically directed at folks who had a problem with porn and might want help getting over that problem. After ppl had made a few jokes about it, his post is to suggest that porn isn't a laughing matter. As he said, it has "messed up lives." I must repeat myself, porn didn't mess up his brother's life. His brother had issues prior to porn. Porn is not the cause and affect of his problems. Finally, I will defer from taking on your "unnecessary" post argument. After all, such conclusions will only result in animosity. I simply want to state the other side... as this topic found itself in a "general chit chat" area, there can be no unnecessary post - except those that are orginally posted - as all others are solicited. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> dude dont say stuff you cant back up. how do you know he had issues prior to porn? did he say he did? and actually, porn can definitly make you lose your job. porn rips apart families, which leads to bad work. porn at work is being paid for time you're not working. co-workers walking by while you are looking at porn are affected...seriously.

k sorry for getting so hot earlier by the way, i shouldnt have done that. but i really feel that some people are really blind to what stuff actually does in their life. for instance the whole porn isnt like carrots or soda thing. this is true because porn is hugely addicting, far more than soda or...carrots. and not only that, but porn also begins to change who YOU are. when you're...done... you feel really crappy. unless of course your conciense is completely gone. which porn also has a way of doing. after a while, its not shocking at all anymore. remember the first time you ever saw a pronographic image? remember how shocking it was? well now how do you feel about it? desensitization at its worst. now for those of you who arent religious, this will sound just stupid, but you dont have to be religious for it to be true. porn ruins lives! not just yours, but everyone around you too. when people see you so fastly fascinated by something so...violating as porn, they dont know what to say. people you care about start to fall away from you, and you lose friends. just like drugs. i am not a very good debater, so i cant really explain anything i'm saying here much deeper. if you want to argue, i agree, preacher had no intent of this topic being hot and turning into a "flame war" as was described earlier, so nobody diss him for it. if you want to argue, do it without dissing people. by the way i am a christian, and i have been addicted in the past, and still have issues that have recently arisen that i thought were gone. so i think i might try that linky thing, if anything, it'll give good information for the case. oh heres another thing i was gonna say. if you have a girlfriend or wife that doesnt know that you do it, you NEED to tell her and promise you will stop, because WHEN, not if, she finds out, you will be in BIG trouble. but, sometimes the only way to really learn is the hard way. girlfriends and wives hate porn.

He never blaimed porn. your response would be if he had made a topic that said: "problems with alchohol? get help here" and you replied with "alchohol isn't the problem, people are the problem" your post was unnecessary. He never said "porn is to blame", just that "porn causes problems". I'm sure that Preacher isn't walking around his house saying "CURSE PORN! IT SCREWED UP LIVES!"...he's more likely saying "Curse these people for being weak and screwing up their lives". all that said, if you have a problem with porn, there is nothing wrong with wanting to get help. also: http://www.x3watch.com <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yes x3 watch is a very useful program, but it is too easy to trick yourself out of it. lol by htat i mean just going into the task manager and turning it off.

lol actually i was playing with p228 last night and that is a really fun gun, esp at med range. but dualies are still better.

yeah i actually now agree that the scout is best, especially as the first sniper rifle. after a whil, when money comes faster, maybe the AWP, but scout is my fav.

lol i thought of that i long time ago, but all my friends tweaked on me when they found out. but i still use that every once in a while.

yes the warcraft mod would be fun. do that! but someone shouild seriously go look for those surfing maps. THEY ARE SO FUN!!!

i voted dualies, because in the pisty round, the 30 rnd mag really gives you the edge. yes, the Deagle will always get the most votes, and to tell you the truth, i really like the deagle. but theres sumthing about the dualies that i really like. so yeah, thats my vote. but everyonce in a while i get this urge to go ninja, so i buy a TMP and a USP...boy that is fun. well, TMP or silenced M4A1. thats fun too.

yeah yeah, so the scout is obviously the weapon of honor. ok so the AWP is cheap and is maybe quite unbalanced. yes yes everyone knows that the autosnipe is for n00bs. but seriously, Counterstrike is a teambased game, or is at least supposed to be. so which one do you think is actually better for the team? scout is a light weapon, shoots fast, good speed in scope, but the only way to kill is in the head. AWP is a one shot kill, most snipers use this, but TK's are frequent, especially in the hands of a n00b, due to the quick reflex's needed to get that kill and not hesitate. and autosniper, i hate to say it, but autosnipers are actually a good team weapon. high rate of fire, good damage, and OK accuracy. so i'm not saying i like the Autosnipe, in fact i hate it, (I love the scout) but seriously, which is best for your team? opinions...

sweet. my short gaming history began with this weird game where you were this weird little ball thing and you used your mouse to move it around different maps. different difficulties came up; left would go right and up would go down...just dumb little things. i have completly forgoten the name of this game, but i will never forget my first obsession. around the same time i also played TIE fighter. that game was FUN. except you had to do that stupis password thing where the com would tell you the page line and # word in the sentence and then you had to go look it up in the manual before you could play. then i was some Jedi knight game, i think it was mysteries of the sith. then Quake II and III, man those games were SWEET!. also, i played this shareware version of Rapttor:call of the Shadows for about 2 years. lol that game ruled. but the same 9 mission over and over really got old. my first major online gaming experience was Star Trek, Voyager. man, i ruled with that compression rifle disintegration thingy. that kicked butt. then i started to play the game s i still play today, Halo. for instance. might i add that nobody ever beats me in HALO anymore? i OWN online, people seriously kick me from servers because they think i have aim bots. pistol rules baby. any ways so yeah halo, Unreal 2003 and 2004. (totally awesome games) FEAR, Halflife (i still play the classic, that is sooo fun still. i love how it feels. call me outdated, but that game will never get old. especially multiplayer. Halflife 2 and CSS also of course. and also lately i've been playing CS:CZ and 1.6. i love all Halflife related games. oh and i forgot, Far Cry!!! that game is SO sweet. i rememered it when pretty h8 machine mentioned it.

lol i hope that those rockers get everything they can squeeze out of microsoft. i hate microsoft! well, i guess i like windows and HALO, but thats about all...
