  10. How to use this file: 1) Download the file and extract in a handy location (eg: your Desktop). This should create a new uxtheme.dll file in that location. 2) Go to C:WINDOWSSystem32 and rename uxtheme.dll to uxtheme.dll.old 3) Put the new uxtheme.dll into C:WINDOWSSystem32 4) If you get any warnings from Windows stating that an original system file has been replaced, you must click "Cancel", otherwise the new uxtheme.dll will be replaced with the original one. 5) Reboot

  12. the one that I recommended just "fixes" the dll file that stylexp and window blinds "masks" or whatever they do to put custom themes in. The one I use uses no resources. You can use anything from themexp.org or any theme files for that matter.. just put them in that directory. For themes I would recomend this one.. I love it! Download link
  13. assuming you have winxp sp2 then use this http://www.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-Enhan...SP2-Final.shtml use that pach and you can put themes in your C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes folder and go into desktop properties and choose what you want. Edit - http://personal.stevens.edu/~ascagnel/nw_uxtheme.zip this is better if it works.. the neowin auto install version

  17. Try removing all PCI cards and just have the AGP card in and see if that works. 2 This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12) Two devices have been assigned the same input/output (I/O) ports, the same interrupt, or the same Direct Memory Access channel (either by the BIOS, the operating system, or a combination of the two). This error message can also appear if the BIOS did not allocate enough resources to the device (for example, if a universal serial bus (USB) controller does not get an interrupt from the BIOS because of a corrupt Multiprocessor System (MPS) table). You can use Device Manager to determine where the conflict is and disable the conflicting device. On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooting wizard.
