Is this only in CS:S, or have you tried other games? Or is it even in a game at all? There have been updates to CS:S lately that may have started it for you. I've had this issue 2 times in windows, and once in linux. Drivers were the cause for the one in windows and the linux one. Strangely enough, the third one was fixed by using a different video driver. This was back when I used a Ti4200, updated the drivers and it went away.

Upping the round time to 3 would be nice. 2.3 is very short, especially on hostage rescue maps.

The ban originated most recently 4/24, which is less than 21 days ago, and was among the many others (check out log L0424097 on recrud, 6800 bans in 2 seconds right in the middle of gameplay, kinda funny). Anyway, gonna lift this unless/until there is some objection. Keep it clean, you're starting with a clean slate it appears.

Someone will be with you shortly. Gonna wait and see if the banning admin recognizes this first. My guess is that this is part of the latest round-up of hooligans that were pardoned in the great server freezes of 2005.

So how many times would I have to surreptitiously delete ptbx and claim a server bug for it to stick? I'm trying to plan my weekend.

On another note, someone explain to me why this server is creating 220mb core dumps a couple times a day and you'll get a cookie. I've yet to get time/remember to look into this. I just deleted 37 core dumps at 220mb /each, or roughly 8 gigs of junk. That's 20% of our total space on that server. Server is running CentOS if that helps in the search.

Just as an example of what happened just now: I joined Discharge. There were 3 players there. I joined Ts as that was the 1 man team. I get told I was autoed to T by ptbx. Ts were up 5-2 i think. I play a couple rounds. My teammate explodes with the bomb at spawn and is put on CT. I win, suddenly I'm on CT with one fellow cohort. 3 total players by this time. Next round, I'm alone. 8-5 Ts. I'm having to kill 2 Ts now. I was 8-1 I believe and just annoyed at the inconsistency. I'm just not liking this plugin.

This really should just be called the map extender. Can't even have a mini-rivalry with someone when they get swapped to your team. Can't organize when you don't know who will be there next round. Can't team up with anyone really as you may be on teams very briefly. I don't get it. If an admin's present, why should this even run? May just be my perspective, but it seems to have killed discharge tonite. I'm losing the team aspect with all the defectors.

They've been flying inverted for years and years. I believe the "first" is an auto-invert, i.e. flipping a switching on the controller and the heli just doing it, and I may not even be right about that. It's toward the end of the video where text pops up.

While we're on this and have an audience.... First, I'm noticing that s4h is getting complimented here for their skill. Can't really miss that. Must be skilled. Second, generally the skilled players are expected not to come in and team up and roll over people. That drives away pubbers. Third, the opposite side of the coin. I always take the "stacking" thing with a grain of salt. I've been on the plowed team plenty of times. Try to get it organized. Teamwork will work even in lop-sided situations skill-wise. Too many times there's a cry of "teams" and continued silence on voice-comm as to what to do. This takes nothing away from the obligation of skilled players not to pick on the masses; just the masses shouldn't so readily bend over for it. Finally, it's all about fun. Laugh into the mic occassionally.
