    Vote for my RB!

Aye, that's a good game you mention.....to be honest, I didn't even read through em all... It's a life lesson...... "It's not what you know...."
  3. http://www.cleveland.com/hssports/index.ss..._balls_awa.html Both of my running backs ran for over 160 yards on Friday. One of them is up for an award. Load that page and then search for Kaven Wright (last county listed). Thanks for your vote(s)!
  4. Thank-yous go out to: whudats (who stepped up even though he doesn't play PC games anymore...that's community!), Ted Break Dancin, and Scuba Dan!! Nice work, guys! $400 raised! $900 more to go!
  5. What: A Golf Outing that benefits Royal Family Kids’ Camp When: Saturday, October 11, 2008 Why: Because for the last 3 years, the GC Community has shown their compassion for these kids. We’ve proven over time that GC is not just about the frags, but about people. How Much: $1300, which covers a Corporate Sponsorship and an additional foursome. It’s been 16 months since our last sponsorship to RFKC. A couple gracious guys who planned on donating again this year have even asked what was going on with the outing. Normally it takes place in June or July, but for one reason or another, it was postponed. I was so tickled to know that some of you were anticipating the chance to give again this year! Here’s our teams from last year: http://www.fragfestohio.com/ff07/07picalbu...o_1rfkc03.shtml Here’s this year’s brochure, which also boasts our sponsorship from 2007: http://gamrs.co/rfkc/2008rfkcgolfbrochure.doc I’m going to link you to the past conversations and drives, but for anyone that is new, let me give you a little background: Royal Family Kids’ Camp is a week-long camp for abused and neglected children. Most of our kids come from either Child Guidance or from Children’s Services. In some form, they have experienced abuse or neglect from those who they were supposed to be able to trust more than anyone: their parents. While the children, for the most part, are not still in the abusive situation, they still bear the scars and memories of being ill-treated. Our goal is to give them a week of wonderful memories and positive experiences. The camp is nationwide, and the official site is here: http://rfkc.org A quick link to some statistics on the site are here: http://www.rfkc.org/site/c.ikIPL8MWJxE/b.4...Quick_Facts.htm This will be my 9th year of RFKC. I started off as a counselor with another church for three years, and then helped to start a camp at our church after that where I served as the Dean of Men. Last year I became Assistant Director at our camp, and we are beginning preparations for our 6th camp in 2009. Past topics: 2007: http://www.gamrs.co/forums/in...showtopic=32877 2006: http://www.gamrs.co/forums/in...showtopic=27020 2005 topic - http://www.gamrs.co/forums/in...showtopic=18055 Normally I toss my entire contribution in during this golf outing, but this year I ended up spending $300 at the RKFC Auction for a little puppy…some of you have met Jackson the Beagle. He’s not so little anymore…. Anyways, I’ll start us off with $100. Bub is in for $100 as well. So now we’re down to $1100 left to raise. That’s just 11 more guys at $100 each. However, we never get it done like that. We have a few guys with more resources toss in more than that, and we have lots of guys give what they can in little chunks that help us reach our goal. Whether you’re someone who can donate $20 or someone who can donate $200, you donate from your heart, and that is what matters. So here we go. I’ll gladly answer any questions, both here or in PM. I don’t publish the amounts that you donate, but I can’t help but thank you in this thread after I receive some donations (unless you request otherwise). Last year SJ whipped up some handy links....thanks again, SJ! $10 Donation $20 Donation $30 Donation $40 Donation $50 Donation $75 Donation $100 Donation Any amount you enter

  9. I need the song "The Payback" by James Brown. For a successful transfer of said song, you will receive one large pack of cookies along with 1/2 gallon of milk, already including cookie crumbs, making it a green light to drink straight from the carton. Attach or email to me: don@gamerscoalition.com Thanks! Good luck!
  10. I've solved this problem, but thanks! Now, onto a music search!
  11. I need to be able to grab some scenes from DVDs to integrate them into this year's football highlight films..... Help??!?!!?!? I have DVDShrink, but it (so far) backs them up as DVD files (vob, bup, ifo) that I can't open with anything (atm). Help?

  19. I have like a gajillion powercords compliments of FFOhio peeps of the past, added to my own collection....so i'll give ya two at the fest.
  20. btw, since it's July 4, I found a picture of my ole Red White and Blue bike: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motorcycles...bayphotohosting It was either a 700 or 750, but that's the same color that it was....was one of the first "sport" bikes, so it wasn't really a crotch rocket...was kinda tallish...I was always amazed and how close the ground seemed on other bikes... Clue mentions highways...I'll tell you one of the most unnerving things for me was crossing up onto asphalt from a newly paved part of a road from the lower one...never liked that "wiggle" that it gives you..
  21. if you're gonna ride hard and end up putting it down, you're not gonna cross your arms when you go airborn, so the gloves will help. i'd say the most challenging and perhaps most important part initially is something duke eluded to: learning to use your front break and really allowing the bike to dig in forward into it to stop quickly...keeping your body low and aligned with the bike so that all the force does indeed transfer into the front wheel and not leak upward and lift the backend.... i miss my bike i only layed my bike down once...and it was while i was stopped....n00bish me parked it on a gravel driveway, but i stopped on the middle, higher grassy part instead of a rut...and by the time my foot hit the ground, it was a such an angle that i had to gently lay it down sideways cause i couldn't stop it.
  22. got it, not impressed with the sound....nor the game as a whole...but I'm not done with it yet.
