I need to find a good enough power supply to run it and the rest of my computer. I've recieved one suggestion in the past but I am loath to buy this because everyone who bought it complained about it having short cables. I've got up to $100 to spend on it (though I'd like to spend less) please help. I'd be willing to spring for this one if that'd work well. Ring

So hopefully this will be the last time I ask what should be an easy question about upgrading my video card for a while. I would like to thank people for their patience with me. I ask all these questions because I really do know nothing about the more minute parts of hardware. I've attached 3 pictures. This one is a picture of the actual part of the graphics card that I want to buy that plugs into the computer. This is a picture of the same part on my current video card. My question is this, will the card that I want to buy fit into and work in my motherboard even though my current card doesn't have the little thingy that I've circled in this picture. I figure it probably will but I don't want to spend the cash on the part unless I'm 100% positive. ($100 is a lot in my book right now) Thank you again for your patience with my ignorance. Ring

I just recently tried to get into vent and it told me that I had either the global server address wrong or the wrong password Did we change vent info at some point and I just missed it? If so what is the current vent setup we've got going on?

Really I'm trying to figure out if my processor will be able to handle Fallout 3 which shows a min Processor req of 2.4 GHz. From your answer I'd guess that the answer is no. On a more basic level I'm just trying to figure out what I can figure my Processor at for game requirements in the future which (also from your answer) I'd call at 1.8 GHz. I'm now just trying to make sure I understand properly. Thanks Ring

When I open up my system window my processor shows an Intel® Core2 CPU 4300 @ 1.80GHz but when I open up my hardware manager it shows 2 of the same thing. My question is this... When determining whether or not my computer can run a game do I use the 1.80 GHz for my processor speed or the 3.6 that I get when I add the 2 processors shown in my hardware manager? I just wanted to say hey seeing as I've not played CS:S since August. I moved back to school and ResNet (our ISP on campus) appears to have blocked all the steam game ports. I can only detect servers on the campus network and as such I've not been around. Anywho, I just wanted to say I'm looking forward to being able to play again at least over christmas break. I also want to appologize to the Board and Admin team for getting voted in and then being completely unable to actually do any admining. So................ Yeah, Ring

Please pray for my brother. He got into a car wreck earlier this evening and is uninsured. No-one was hurt but he's going to have to pay expenses for the other cars because he was at fault. Also...
