What happens when you take a good expansion and put it on top of crap? You still end up with a crappy foundation. It's like the parable from the bible about building your house on sand vs rock. I just love to rip on SWG cause I was in the beta and the game was such a huge disappointment.

Ive been in the beta for 6 months and I will still be playing it on release. It is pretty good imo.

Im a huge Packer's fan, that was still a killer game, what a fun game to watch. Had that ball not been stripped and the PAcker's tied it one can only guess as to what would have happened. Such a good matchup of QBs though.

My guess is it will ship sometime in November.

Yeah I don't detect any spyware on it, the only thing the website is doing is reloading the images from the advertising webpages to waste their bandwidth, if you click on the Closed link on the left it will show you different ad servers that have exceeded their bandwidth or disappeared. So far tonight since I discovered the site I have wasted 2.5GB of bandwidth technically I don't think this is necessarily legal but then either is putting advertising crap on my pc.

This game will come out in 2005 is my guess. There is still a lot to be added to the game. Homer - if you decide to check out the PvP server let me know, I am over there as Halldritch and I let one trusted person from my DAoC guild use my account when I am not. Look up anyone in Brotherhood of the Blade that is my guild. RL friend Bradack/Bradath etc... is the GM on the WoW server as well as another RL friend and some DAoC buddies in the guild. Oh well back to the game now

Are you playing on the PvP server or the PvE server Homer? I have a slew of lvl 2x and 3x characters on the PvE server but my playtime since the PvP server has been lessened and my mage there is only 23 almost 24 and that is my only character. What is your name? If you are playing on the PvP server look me up at Halldritch.

Yeah, thats what my friend tells me as well. He works at Google. Yet I still don't trust it. Any computer system needs programmers, testers, QA folks and production readiness tests. The ad system they are building needs raw data. Unit test data, Assembly test data, System test data...etc. They are all under NDA, I'm sure. But no system would go live without using real data for test purposes. Same with production support. Its moot anyways though. I get POP3 access to yahoo mail and they give 2GB of space. Their ad system doesn't really need testing. It is the same ad placement system that their search engine uses and has been using for quite some time now.

Im having a blast in WoW beta but it will take a back seat to HL2 without a doubt. HL 1 is my favorite game ever w/ Deus Ex following just behind it. I still need to play DX 2

I wouldn't count on WoW making a christmas release, just imo from playing the Beta.

Only took me 40 hours to download =\ Will finally be able to play when I get home from work today.

Phase 3 should be starting sometime this week, they are putting a new patch out today and they said after it smoothly launches they are going to send out more invite emails so make sure you start checking your spam box for beta invites in the near future.

There are no fees for the buyer if you use a credit card however the person receiving the payment loses 3% which is the charge that credit cards charge to ANYONE who accepts credit card payments. So as a buyer you can use paypal without losing anything however if you accept paypal payment via credit card you will be charged 3%.

Or you can pay someone with a credit card via paypal as well and there is no wait for that. Ive used paypal mostly to accept payment from others but I have also used it to pay other people. It is much faster than the mail.
